Bryce Harper Injury: Updates on Nationals Star's Knee and Return
The Washington Nationals had to play without star Bryce Harper Tuesday night versus the Los Angeles Dodgers, but he returned on Wednesday. MLB Lineups confirmed he would bat third and play right field.
He banged his knee when diving for a ball in the third inning on Aug. 10, and it began to swell after the game, according to Dan Kolko of MASN.
Harper has been magnificent in 2015 and has to be considered a serious candidate for the National League MVP this season. The 22-year-old has shown why he was one of the most hyped baseball prospects in league history this season, finally turning his elite potential into elite production.
