WWE Elimination Chamber 2015: Date, Start Time, Matches, Live Stream, PPV Info
Newness will power WWE Elimination Chamber 2015.
Kevin Owens is new blood, infused into the product by way of a collision with John Cena. The event will crown a new intercontinental champion. The first tag team Elimination Chamber match and fresh faces in the main event further the theme.
The action unfolds on Sunday, May 31 at 8 p.m. ET. The American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas, hosted what fans just weeks ago thought was going to be a run-of-the-mill house show.

Plans changed, though, as WWE looked to make another major sales pitch to add to its network subscribers.
In doing so, WWE didn't force fans to go without the annual trip inside the steel for long. After taking the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view off the schedule and replacing it with Fastlane in February, a surprise shift jammed the event into the last day of May.
Now, the structure known as Satan's Prison is ready to make two firsts: The Intercontinental Championship will be decided on that metal battlefield for the first time, as will the tag titles.
Live Stream Info
Although referred to as a pay-per-view, Elimination Chamber will be a WWE Network exclusive.
Unlike other events, fans can't order this through their local cable companies. It's the WWE Network or bust. Luckily, new subscribers can get the streaming service for free in May.
The trial subscription also includes the network's pay-per-view archive, collection of original specials and episodes of NXT.
The monthly fee for non-newbies is still $9.99, which covers Elimination Chamber along with all the programming mentioned above. Once fans have signed up for the 24/7 "over the top" service, they can stream Elimination Chamber live on Apple TV, Kindle Fire, Roku, video game consoles and a variety of other devices.
While the WWE Network is now available in a wealth of places, from Turkey to the United Kingdom, it's still not globally accessible. To see if the streaming service can be ordered in your country, check out the network help section on WWE.com.
Before the battles inside the steel, WWE will broadcast a free pre-show starting at 7 p.m. ET. In addition to the WWE Network, the pre-show will stream live on WWE.com, the WWE App, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Pheed and Pinterest.
A panel of WWE personalities will preview the night's biggest matches. Recaps and hype videos will fill much of the time, but the pre-show also features two former world champions.
Daniel Bryan will appear in a Miz TV segment with The Miz.
Bryan has a DVD and book coming out, so expect him to plug those items. Questions about his health, when he might return and his thoughts on the IC title match are sure to come up as well.
Matches
- The New Day vs. Cesaro and Tyson Kidd vs. Los Matadores vs. The Lucha Dragons vs. The Ascension vs. The Prime Time Players (Elimination Chamber match for Tag Team Championship)
- Neville vs. Bo Dallas
- Nikki Bella vs. Paige vs. Naomi (Divas Championship)
- John Cena vs. Kevin Owens
- Sheamus vs. R-Truth vs. Rusev vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Bad News Barrett vs. Ryback (Elimination Chamber match for Intercontinental Championship)

Tag Teams Crowd the Chamber
For the first time ever, tag teams will clash inside the Elimination Chamber.
That means that The New Day will face nearly the entire tag division, surrounded by steel. The match shows off the lack of depth in WWE tag wrestling today, but novelty and a variety of moving parts will make it an intriguing contest.
WWE's options are plentiful here.
This bout is a chance for The New Day to make an emphatic statement, proving that they are worthy of their spots as champs, as the division's top heels. The Lucha Dragons and The Ascension can force fans to take notice of them with a big spot here or there.
NXT Feud Renewed
For fans who follow NXT, Dallas vs. Neville will be a continuation of a strong feud that unfolded at Full Sail University. For fans unfamiliar with that rivalry, this will be a bit of midcard filler with a rookie on the rise.
Dallas' move to the main roster hasn't led to much. He's been an afterthought armed with a catchphrase.
Neville has progressed much faster. The crowd is taking to him thanks to his electric, aerial style. He has a shot to show off his impressive arsenal as the favorite in this matchup.
Divas Triple Threat
Change is looming in the women's division. It may be a long time before WWE starts to truly showcase its female wrestlers, but the company appears to be taking baby steps.
A trio of competitors go after the Divas title here in a three-way rivalry that has grown intense in recent weeks. Paige returned from a storyline injury to get revenge on Naomi, who sent her to the sidelines. Naomi, now aligned with Tamina Snuka, has made a habit of throttling anyone in her path.
The intensity is certainly at a good level for this matchup.
Naomi looks to ride her recent slide into heel territory to a title win. Paige looks for her third crown. Nikki, meanwhile, has quietly extended her reign to nearly 200 days.
Will WWE switch the belt over to Naomi to take advantage of her recent momentum? Are we headed for a long Paige-Naomi feud through the summer?
WWE vs. NXT
The NXT champ will pull himself away from the developmental brand to collide with Cena. It's a non-title match that may serve as Owens' coming-out party.
Owens rose to the top of NXT in just months. Can he maintain the same pace up the WWE hierarchy?
Facing WWE's golden boy in his first match on the main roster is a major opportunity. It's clear the company thinks highly of him. Win or lose, a stellar showing will prove his supporters right.
The undefeated Owens will meet the man WWE hates to let lose. Something has to give.
The Battle for the Vacant IC Title
Bryan's injury swings open the door for another wrestler. WWE was clearly looking to bring back the championship's prestige before Bryan had to relinquish the belt.
Sheamus has been on a roll since his return as a mohawked heel. Bad News Barrett will look to not only reclaim the title he had to vacate due to injury but follow up his King of the Ring win with his sixth IC title. Rusev and Ryback could begin the first IC reign of their career.
Rusev, though, may be distracted from title pursuits. He recently watched Lana leave his side and start smooching with Dolph Ziggler.
The Lunatic Looks to Wear the Crown
Rollins and Ambrose will restart their excellent feud from last year. This time around, WWE's ultimate prize will be at stake.
There will also be a chance for both men to prove that they belong in this headlining spot for the long haul. Rollins has been his usual irksome self. Ambrose has emerged as a main eventer despite not fitting the WWE mold.
They have a long history of flourishing against each other. Even if the outcome is not exactly unpredictable (Rollins is the heavy favorite), this promises to be a thriller.
Just two weeks ago, WWE put together a quality show despite a low-quality buildup. After a quick turnaround, WWE has the same challenge ahead of it. With Owen's arrival, the startling violence that comes with the Elimination Chamber match and Ambrose vs. Rollins' chance to create fireworks, chances are the company will outdo its success at Payback.
