Manchester United Transfer News: Fresh Radja Nainggolan, Felipe Anderson Rumours
AS Roma could be forced to sell star midfielder Radja Nainggolan during the summer transfer window, and according to the latest reports from Italy, Manchester United could be in line to benefit when the window opens.
The Giallorossi were among a number of clubs recently hit with penalties for breaking UEFA's financial fair play regulations, as shared by FOX Soccer, and those sanctions could come back to haunt them in the transfer market:

According to Il Messaggero (h/t Daily Express' Anthony Chapman), both Nainggolan and Miralem Pjanic are on Louis van Gaal's wish list, and the former figures to rank pretty high as he would fill the Red Devils' need for an enforcer in midfield.
Things aren't just as simple as a straight transfer. Roma own 50 percent of Nainggolan's rights, with the rest belonging to Cagliari. Italy is moving away from the co-ownership system this year, and ownership of Nainggolan will have to be resolved during the summer.
As shared by Gianlucadimarzio.com's David Amoyal, Cagliari's relegation could make matters even more complicated:
Roma are limited in what how much they can spend during the summer, and while they would obviously prefer to keep hold of Nainggolan, they would have to invest in the Belgium international just to buy the remaining 50 percent of his rights.
With the FFP penalties in store, that may not be possible, opening the door for a sale. Nainggolan prefers a stay in the Italian capital, according to Corriere dello Sport (h/t Football Italia), but between him and Kevin Strootman, at least one will likely leave the Stadio Olimpico.
United have been linked with Strootman for a long time now, per the Daily Mirror's Simon Mullock, but there are massive question marks surrounding the Dutch star's knee. If Van Gaal decided not to pursue Arturo Vidal due to concerns regarding his knee, per Colin Harvey of the Daily Star, he should be even more wary of Strootman, who had two major surgeries in the past two years.
Meanwhile, Nainggolan has established himself as one of the top midfielders in Serie A and a worthy transfer target, whose physicality and athleticism should make him an excellent fit in the Premier League.
United Reportedly Prepare Felipe Anderson Offer

The Red Devils may have already brought in a young, exciting winger for next season in the form of Memphis Depay, but according to the Daily Mirror's Neil Moxley, Van Gaal may be eyeing a second star forward during the summer. United are reportedly scouting Lazio Roma's Felipe Anderson ahead of a summer move.
As reported by Le Parisien (h/t Sport Witness), they're not the only ones tracking the Brazilian:
Paulo Dybala may have stolen most of the headlines in 2014-15, but Anderson was undoubtedly the biggest breakout star of the 2014-15 Serie A campaign. The Lazio forward flashed incredible potential and production, and has been the main catalyst behind the club's push for a Champions League spot.
In many ways, Anderson will remind fans of Depay. He's incredibly fast and quick in the dribble, and he has a keen eye for goals and assists. StatsBomb's Ted Knutson was blown away when he scouted the youngster:
It's easy to see why Anderson will likely be a popular name during the summer window, and why United would be interested. But Lazio won't sell cheaply, and with plenty of other teams monitoring the Brazilian, his eventual transfer fee―if he leaves―will be quite high.
The Mancunians already invested in a young, talented forward in Depay, and while the squad's attack could use another infusion of speed, it's hard to imagine United throwing even more money at a similar player.
Anderson is a budding superstar who might move to a big club during the summer, but if he does, he'll expect to be an immediate starter. It makes more sense for the Brazilian to pick another club with a clear need for his services, instead of a team that just invested a chunk of money in a long-term target.
