Per Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times, there is also an option for a third year in 2018:
According to Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times, Street's extension isn't quite as big as the one he was initially seeking:
Street still made out well, though, as did the Angels. The veteran reliever has a 3.29 ERA and 11 saves to his credit thus far in 2015, and his solid 1.17 WHIP suggests his ERA is bound to come down moving forward.
He was lights-out last season, which he split between the Angels and the San Diego Padres, accumulating 41 saves and a 1.37 ERA.
From 2008 to 2011, Street had a 3.56 ERA with the Oakland A's and Colorado Rockies. Since then, he has been an elite closer with a 2.08 ERA and 0.94 WHIP.
The Angels should continue to compete for AL West titles and playoff positioning in the coming years, and having a reliable guy like Street at the back end of the bullpen gives them an advantage over many of the teams they'll be facing.
