As Agence France-Presse (via Yahoo Sports) points out, the Blaugrana have vehemently insisted the transfer that took Neymar from Santos to the Camp Nou almost two years ago cost them a sum of €57 million.
The report notes the actual cost is suspected as €83 million, but it's alleged illegal alterations may have been made to avoid the full cost of tax.
Tuesday evening saw Barcelona advance to the final of this year's Champions League, and the La Liga leaders could complete the treble, but the court summons relating to Neymar's arrival risks besmirching the club's name if found to be true.
