Bobby Hart to New York Giants: Full Draft-Pick Breakdown
The New York Giants completed their starting offensive line’s renovation Thursday with their first-round selection of Miami offensive tackle Ereck Flowers.
Fittingly, they hope they have completed the reserve depth along the unit as well, using their last pick in the 2015 draft on Florida State offensive lineman Bobby Hart.
Hart, a college right tackle, will convert to guard for the Giants, according to general manager Jerry Reese, who spoke to reporters following the conclusion of the Giants draft.

Hart, speaking to reporters via conference call, is confident he’ll make the transition with little problem. He is committed to playing anywhere the Giants need him to.
“With any new position, there are new challenges, but I’m up for all the challenges ahead,” he said, adding that he played guard as a sophomore and then again in practice last season.
The 20-year-old, who started his first college game at the tender age of 17, is no stranger to playing at a high level of competition or in big games.
One of the biggest games of his college career came when he contributed to a winning Seminoles team in the 2014 BCS National Championship Game.
“It definitely has helped,” Hart said of his big-game experience, noting that the Giants also have some big games on their schedule this coming season.
“I’ve been through a lot, so just keeping my composure in those games is definitely good for me.”
