Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini said Belgium ignored the medical report that listed Kompany as being unfit to play, Richard Jolly of ESPN FC.

The City captain's return will have come as something of a shock to Pellegrini, who had claimed on Oct. 2 Kompany wouldn't be fit for Belgium's Euro 2016 qualifiers, per talkSPORT.
City's Defence Desperately in Need of Kompany's Know-how
Juventus netted the game-winner after Kompany left the field back in September, highlighting the importance of the skipper to Pellegrini's back four.
Since then, City have conceded nine goals in five games, including four at Tottenham, losing at both White Hart Lane and at home to West Ham.
Prior to Kompany's injury, the Citizens hadn't conceded a single goal all season.
