NFL Rumors: Latest Scoops Across the League Entering 2015 Draft Weekend
Who says blockbuster trades only take place during the NBA draft? According to Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer-Press, the Minnesota Vikings might be set to move Adrian Peterson before or during the NFL draft. A source told Tomasson: "If he's not traded next week, they're going to keep him."
According to Tomasson, the Arizona Cardinals, Atlanta Falcons, Dallas Cowboys, Jacksonville Jaguars, San Diego Chargers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are all potential landing spots for A.P.
Peterson could vault both the Cards and Cowboys into Super Bowl contention. Even at 30 years old, Peterson should at least have two quality seasons left in him. Over his last two seasons with at least 14 games played, A.P. has averaged 1,681.5 yards per year.

There's obviously some baggage to deal with should the Vikings choose to deal him, but contending teams looking for a playmaker might be willing to make a deal.
Beasley to Saints?

The New Orleans Saints are said to covet former Clemson stud pass-rusher Vic Beasley. The outside linebacker was one of the standouts at the NFL Scouting Combine. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.53 seconds and lifted 225 pounds 35 times.
Beasley didn't just shine at the combine, he also had 12 sacks in 2014.
According to Tony Pauline of TFY Draft Insider, the Saints would be willing to trade up for the potential superstar. Pauline writes: "I'm told the Saints will consider trading up if they feel they are in striking distance of Beasley. Defensive coordinator Rob Ryan loves Beasley's pass rushing ability and potential in a 3-4."
Of all the defensive end/outside linebacker prospects, Beasley is potentially the most dynamic. His combination of speed, power and on-field production can't be ignored. The team that gets him will likely be adding the most effective defensive player in the draft.
Johnson Passing Waynes?

For weeks, draft experts considered former Michigan State Spartans cornerback Trae Waynes the top player at his position. Now it seems former Wake Forest Demon Deacons corner Kevin Johnson has passed Waynes on several team's big boards.
On April 26, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk wrote: "With the draft four days away, we’re told that multiple teams have Johnson ahead of Waynes. If one of those teams ends up on the clock and decides to take a corner, Johnson will go before Waynes."
This draft is filled with dilemmas for teams at several positions. Both players have similar body types, but Johnson's 41.5" vertical leap surely raised a few eyebrows. With that type of athleticism augmenting his 6'0" frame, he won't be as vulnerable to big receivers.
Waynes' 4.31 time in the 40-yard dash is part of what originally had teams salivating over him, but further evaluations seem to have endeared Johnson to more general managers. We'll see on Thursday which one is the first corner off the board.
