Liverpool Transfer News: Rumours on Big-Money Deals Lined up by Brendan Rodgers
Liverpool have been told they will have to pay a huge £20 million fee if they are to move for Crystal Palace midfielder Yannick Bolasie.
The Telegraph quote Eagles manager Alan Pardew reacting to rumours Brendan Rodgers is prepared to pay £10 million for the Congolese talent, demanding the Reds pay twice the amount if they want to do business with the Selhurst Park outfit: "They [Liverpool] need to have a look at that, because he [Bolasie] is worth double."
Bolasie had an impressive 2015 African Cup of Nations as his country finished in third place, and he has shone in the Premier League since his return from the winter tournament.

And he proved his form and talent in Palace's recent 4-1 win at Sunderland, hitting a hat-trick in the process.
Bolasie has appeared 28 times in the EPL this season, creating 39 opportunities in Pardew's counter-attacking side, per Squawka.com.
The attacker could be viewed as a potential replacement for Raheem Sterling if the England international does not resolve his contract dispute with the club, as reported by Natalie Pirks of BBC Sport.

Sterling is yet to put pen to paper and commit his future to the Anfield giants, making Bolasie a viable alternative if Rodgers is forced to sell.
Bolasie has worked his way through the lower tiers of English football, representing the likes of Plymouth Argyle, Rushden and Diamonds, Barnet and Bristol City before landing in south London in 2012.
The 25-year-old has since played an integral part in Palace's survival in the top flight, and his performances have not gone unnoticed.
Liverpool to Battle Arsenal for Petr Cech

In other news, Liverpool will compete with Arsenal for the services of Chelsea's Petr Cech, as the goalkeeper looks to find a new team for next season.
The Czech international has been frozen out at Stamford Bridge, forced into the role of deputy to the younger Thibaut Courtois.
Alex Harris of the Daily Star has quoted former Manchester United legend Edwin van der Sar speaking about Cech's current plight in west London and advising the player to move on as soon as possible:
"It's important that young goalkeepers have an example and somebody they can look up to. Those guys really do their job although I have a lot of respect for Petr Cech from my time when he played with Chelsea. I think it's important for him to find a nice new club where he can show the quality that Petr Cech has.
"

The 32-year-old stopper has seen action in the EPL and Champions League just eight times this season, per WhoScored.com, reduced to roles in Chelsea's domestic cup campaigns as his primary source of playing time.
He is certainly the best reserve goalkeeper currently in Europe, as the impressive Courtois looks to continue as Jose Mourinho's long-term No. 1.
Liverpool are in need of a world-class entity between the sticks—and Cech is the perfect candidate for Rodgers.
His vast experience and winning record will appeal to the Liverpool boss as he looks to create a defence which can fight for the league title.
There is still plenty of life left in Cech's career, and he will be a hit at whichever club he lands at. Liverpool have the history to tempt the goalkeeper to the north-west, but if the Reds miss out on Champions League football, it will be difficult to land such a marquee talent.
Bolasie would be an interesting and bold addition to the Liverpool squad, and with Sterling's future unknown, he would give Rodgers a genuine wide attacking option.
However, at £20 million, his price looks steep and is likely to put off suitors if Palace are rigid in their approach to any sale.
