Chelsea Transfer News: Rumours on Major Deals Lined up by Jose Mourinho
Chelsea are lining up major deals for two of world football's young superstars as they look to capture Paulo Dybala and Paul Pogba.
Alex Harris of the Daily Star writes Jose Mourinho has had a bid for Dybala turned down as he looks to make additions to his Premier League leading squad for next year.
The 21-year-old Argentinian's co-agent, Gustavo Mascardi, confirmed to Tuttosport the Blues have had an initial bid turned down by Palermo, and Serie A champions Juventus now lead the race for the player's signature, per Harris:

"Juve would not be a bad option for him because he would continue his career in Italy for at least two more years. Yes, Juve are in pole position because the boy considers Juve as a good destination, because [Juve general manager Beppe] Marotta is a good friend that has submitted the highest bid for him so far.
[Maurizio] Zamparini is asking for €40 million and it seems to me like a fair price. Chelsea presented an offer a while ago, but it was very low.
"

Dybala has emerged as one of the most highly coveted strikers in Europe ahead of the summer's transfer window, and a dogfight is guaranteed to occur for his acquisition.
Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has told Tuttosport, per Harris, the attacker will be sold by the end of April, but his new destination is far from decided as of yet:
"Dybala will be sold by the end of April. Along with Juventus, Roma are the team most interested in my lad from our League. Dybala would help them for sure, and Roma don't have money problems. But then there are foreign teams. [Dybala's co-agent Pierpaolo] Triulzi, with my blessing, is going between Paris and London getting the offers, and then we'll evaluate them together.
"
Dybala has developed into a world-class prodigy at Palermo and has steadily improved since his capture from hometown club Instituto de Cordoba in 2012.
Dubbed by Zamparini as "the new Sergio Aguero," per Nick Wright of Sky Sports, the player's explosive style has earned him a fierce reputation in Italy, and the big leagues of the EPL and La Liga now await.

Dybala has hit the goal trail in 2014-15, contributing towards 22 strikes for Palermo. He has scored 13 times in Serie A and provided nine assists for his team-mates, per WhoScored.com.
Despite Chelsea's dominance in England this season, it is evident they are still light in the striker department despite the capture of Diego Costa last summer.
The Spanish international has suffered with a number of minor injuries during his first year in west London, with Didier Drogba and Loic Remy forced to cover from the bench. Neither Drogba or Remy can match Costa's goal return, so a move for Dybala makes perfect sense.
Chelsea's back-up strikers can still provide goals in their natural state, but if Costa is missing for an extended period, neither player is suitable to lead the attack continuously.
Oscar Sacrifice to Capture Paul Pogba

Chelsea's potential raid on Italian football might not end with Dybala, with Mourinho interested in Juventus' golden boy Paul Pogba.
Simon Johnson of the London Evening Standard says Mourinho could tempt Juve with a part-exchange including Oscar, with Pogba currently valued at £60 million—making him one of Europe's most valued talents.
Johnson believes Mourinho has the bargaining power to grab the former Manchester United player, as Juve are interested in adding Oscar to their squad:
"Pogba is wanted by a number of leading clubs across Europe but Chelsea and Barcelona are considered to be the favourites at this stage for his signature. However, with Juventus keen on Oscar, as well as looking at his team-mate Ramires as a potential replacement in case Pogba leaves, Chelsea have a major advantage in negotiations.
"

Pogba showed glimpses at the World Cup in Brazil of the player he is set to become, displaying a dazzling set of skills in the centre of the park for France.
The player has scored seven times in 22 appearances for the Old Lady in Serie A this term, per WhoScored, but it feels this is just the tip of the iceberg for a youngster with incredible ability.
If Mourinho can complete deals for both Dybala and Pogba, he will be laying the foundations of future success for Chelsea for many years to come.
The pair's valuations may appear steep on the surface, but Chelsea do not need to make wholesale changes as they look to form a credible assault on the Champions League.
Pogba would suit the Stamford Bridge club's midfield with his energy and flair, and Oscar would not be missed as a result.
The Brazilian lacks the potency of Eden Hazard and has been continuously substituted by Mourinho in recent times.
Pogba would give the Special One the exceptional balance he demands behind the striker in his side, and English football would finally get to witness the brilliant talent we should have seen develop at Old Trafford.
