WWE 2K15 Mobile: Release Date, Trailer, Platforms, Price and More
On Thursday, April 16, 2K Sports released the mobile version of WWE 2K for iOS and Android devices. It's available for $7.99 on both platforms. The game is the first simulation-style WWE mobile game ever released. It features a roster with Superstars John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Seth Rollins, Triple H, Sting, Undertaker, Bray Wyatt, Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and others.

In addition to the roster that's available on the game, players will also have the opportunity to create their own superstar, go through a career mode and participate in live multiplayer matches. There are unlockable rewards and other in-game incentives.
As you can see from the images in the trailer and some of the screenshots, there was a solid attempt to make the superstars look like themselves. Because of the limitations of mobile hardware, fans have to scale back their expectations for visual excellence on par with the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One version.
That said, it's still a good-looking mobile title. Superstars have full entrances equipped with proper attire and theme songs.

The action features multiple match types based on the console version. Per a press release provided to Bleacher Report, Greg Thomas, the president of Visual Concepts, said this upon the game's release:
"As the first simulation-based WWE video game for mobile devices, WWE 2K provides an opportunity to experience virtual WWE action anywhere and at any time. Inspired by the gameplay and authenticity of WWE 2K for consoles, WWE 2K offers WWE and mobile gaming enthusiasts a variety of popular WWE Superstars, game modes and more in a premium mobile format.
"
The WWE has had its brand attached to a few successful mobile apps already over the last 12 months, including the 2K Sports-published WWE Super Card, which was released in August 2014. Per WWE2K.com, the game had 1.5 million downloads within two weeks of release.
More recently, the fantasy-based WWE Immortals released in January 2015. Per ProWrestling.com's Ryan Clark, the game had 2.7 million downloads in less than a month. Obviously, 2K and WWE are hoping to equal or surpass the success of the last two apps.
