WWE WrestleMania 31: Breaking Down Biggest Matches on the Card
After months of hype, promotion and excitement, WWE WrestleMania 31 is almost here.
All the star power and drama that naturally comes with the biggest pay-per-view of the year will be on show, as the WWE aims to match the success of last year's exceptional WrestleMania 30 show.
And while that seems tough on the face of it, there are a few matches on the card that could all potentially steal the show and provide fans with a hugely memorable pay-per-view extravaganza.

Here's a breakdown of three of the biggest matches of the card, how they could play out and what we could expect to happen.
Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match
This is perhaps the one match that WWE fans have been clamoring to see more than any other on the card. The sheer prospect of Daniel Bryan, Dean Ambrose and Dolph Ziggler in the same match is simply mouthwatering to many.
Of all the matches the WWE has set up for WrestleMania, there's a legitimate argument to suggest this one has been the best booked. The Intercontinental Championship title has been thrust back into the spotlight in recent months, and it's been great to see the championship get more TV time and, ultimately, more relevance.
How the match will play out, though, is anyone's guess. With star power like Ambrose and Bryan in the match, some of the stars involved in the contest have taken a bit of a back seat, including the defending champion, Bad News Barrett.
What we're guaranteed is a contest that will have significant length and a whole world of incredible spots and segments.
The daredevil nature of Bryan will come to the fore here, and it's also a scenario in which one would expect Ambrose to thrive. The good news is picking a winner in this contest is perhaps the hardest task of the night.
Sting vs. Triple H
After years of waiting, the WWE has finally got its hands on Sting, and his first match with the company this Sunday will be one not to miss.
The WCW icon has only made several sporadic appearances in the run-up to WrestleMania, which had led to a little bit of a flat feeling surrounding the match over the past few months.
However, in the last couple of weeks, things have really jumped up a notch in terms of the hype, and Sting's appearances on the final two tapings of Raw prior to Mania have done the trick. Only the most subdued and macabre WWE fan could now not be excited by Sting's showdown with Triple H.
His promo to open Raw in the go-home edition of the show saw a great confrontation with Stephanie McMahon, and it was essentially the first time we've seen Sting in full flow since he arrived in WWE. The influence and input of Stephanie and the rest of The Authority are bound to have some sort of weight in the match again, which will create plenty of drama.
But whatever the outcome, the WWE needs a pat on the back here for how it stepped up its build for this match in the last couple of weeks. It should be a thriller.
Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns
The main event of WWE WrestleMania 31 has had its critics in the run-up to the show, and that's not without valid reasoning.
For example, the calamitous ending to Raw left a sour taste in the mouths of many WWE fans, as it barely did a good job of leaving fans excited over the contest itself.
But there have been moments of promise in the build for this contest, albeit if most of them have been based around Paul Heyman. His uncompromising and gripping promo work has been a joy to watch on occasions, and it's the presence of Heyman during the match itself that could cause further interest.
Heyman has made no secret of his respect and admiration for Roman Reigns, going public with that viewpoint on plenty of occasions during the buildup toward this match. Does that lead to a turn on Lesnar and affiliation with Reigns? Perhaps, although it is by no means certain.
Lesnar re-signing with WWE in the past few days also reignites talk about the potential outcome of the match. The longer Lesnar seemed like being a free agent after WrestleMania, the more obvious it seemed that Reigns was going to win.
With Lesnar back on board for the next few years, there's every possibility the WWE could decide to pin the belt on him for a lengthy, lengthy period.
