5 Feasible Transfer Destinations for Barcelona Defender Dani Alves
Dani Alves seems almost certain to leave Barcelona in the summer with the club still not having confirmed their intention to retain the player at the end of his contract.
Despite his advancing years—he will be 32 in May—the Brazilian shows no signs of slowing up, and he remains one of European football's most talented right-backs.
There is sure to be no shortage of takers for his signature so let's take a look at five feasible transfer destinations for the player...
Paris Saint-Germain

Paris Saint-Germain would appear to be the most likely destination for Alves at this stage.
According to JM Bertran of Sport, the right-back already "has a verbal agreement" in place with the French side, and his agent Dinorah Santa Ana is known to have travelled to the French capital to progress negotiations.
He wrote of the current situation: "Fed up of waiting for Barcelona and conscious of the demand for Alves, Dinorah Santa Ana has decided to push the possible transfer of Alves to Laurent Blanc's side—also Barcelona's next opponent in the Champions League."
The report also quotes Santa Ana from her radio interview with Catalan station RAC1, stating: "He is still available, but we can't bear much more. They are making him look like the bad guy in this film, and we're tired of this situation now."
Should he make the move, then Alves would reunite with national team colleagues David Luiz, Thiago Silva and Marquinhos in a back four heavily laden with Selecao players.
Manchester United

Louis van Gaal is likely to supervise something of a rebuilding process during the summer months at Manchester United.
Alves could well fit into an attacking template as the Dutchman seeks to ensure a far better, and more exciting, season than his relatively disappointing first campaign.
To that end, the Red Devils are willing to break the bank to sign the Brazilian, according to Jamie Sanderson of Metro.
The report states that with no transfer fee involved, United are willing to throw £150,000 per week in Alves' direction to ensure they remain at the head of the queue for his signature.
Liverpool

United's great rivals Liverpool are also said to be interested in bringing Alves to Merseyside as a replacement for Glen Johnson.
Peter Guy of the Liverpool Echo details the clubs' interest, per a report from Sport (h/t the Daily Mirror).
With Reds manager Brendan Rodgers known to be a fan of the Barcelona "tiki-taka" template, arguably Alves could slip straight into a role that he knows so well.
His marauding runs down the right side are bound to excite an intelligent Anfield crowd, but they may need to be curtailed on occasion to ensure defensive industry as the priority.
Juventus

The "Old Lady" of Italian football, Juventus, have also shown their hand and appear keen to secure Alves for next season.
A team that is running away with Serie A once again may prove attractive as a final club destination for the Brazilian.
Parminder Matharu of Squawka noted the interest of the Bianconeri, via Tuttomercatoweb (Italian).
Back in November, Football Espana quoted Mundo Deportivo, which cited "reports from Italy," pertaining to a transfer for Alves to replace Stephan Lichtsteiner. Albeit the transfer seemed "complicated."
Complicated but not impossible.
Arsenal

Arsenal could provide a three-way tug of war if Alves sets his heart on the Premier League.
The north Londoners could also hold a trump card with Alexis Sanchez already in-situ and no doubt keen to reunite with one of his former Barca colleagues.
Arsene Wenger has been lauded for years for how his Gunners' sides play the game, and Alves himself has first-hand experience of that via the various Champions League meetings.
Spanish outlet Fichajes.net (h/t Jamie Sanderson of Metro) reports that Arsenal will top any offer from Manchester United, so if money talks, London could be Alves' final destination.
