WWE Hall of Fame 2015: TV, Live Stream Schedule and Inductees

Ryan DilbertMar 27, 2015

Before WWE delivers its annual sports entertainment spectacular, it will salute the past with its 2015 Hall of Fame ceremony.

As has become tradition, champions and pioneers will slip into tuxes for a celebration of their careers on the night before WrestleMania. The late "Macho Man" Randy Savage finally gets his long-deserved nod. WWE will also induct Kevin Nash, Alundra Blayze and Tatsumi Fujinami, among others, as part of yet another loaded Hall of Fame class.

The WWE Network is set to air the commemoration in its entirety.

Monday Night RAW

On Saturday, March 28, the SAP Center in San Jose, California, hosts the collection of wrestling greats. As announced on WWE.comMaria Menounos will co-host a red-carpet event before the ceremony. That begins at 7 p.m. ET, an hour before the actual inductions kick off.

As for the ceremony itself, it runs from 8-11 p.m. ET. Both events will stream live on the WWE Network.

Fans can catch the speeches, tears and laughs (or at least most of them) on TV after WrestleMania. WWE sent out a press release (h/t Sporting News) announcing that the USA Network will broadcast a one-hour version of the festivities on Monday, March 30 at 11 p.m. ET.

Warrior Award

For the first year ever, WWE will induct a fan into the Hall.

Connor Michalek became a celebrity of sorts thanks in part to his heart-wrenching story and partly because he was a charming, lovable little boy. Connor, a huge Daniel Bryan fan, died from complications from cancer at just eight years old.

WWE has since established a charity in his name and will now make him the first recipient of the Warrior Award. The honor, as explained on WWE.com, "will be given to someone who has exhibited unwavering strength and perseverance, and who lives life with the courage and compassion that embodies the indomitable spirit of WWE Hall of Famer, The Ultimate Warrior."

Dana Warrior and Bryan will present the award.

2015 Inductees

  • Randy Savage
  • Rikishi
  • Arnold Schwarzenegger
  • Larry Zbyszko
  • The Bushwhackers
  • Alundra Blayze
  • Tatsumi Fujinami
  • Kevin Nash

Savage

  • Career Highlights: WWE Championship, Intercontinental Championship, WCW World Heavyweight Championship, King of Cable, King of the Ring, Pro Wrestling Illustrated Wrestler of the Year (1988), Wrestling Observer Newsletter Hall of Fame
  • Inducted by: Hulk Hogan

The Macho Man was one of WWE's most colorful characters. He was a vibrant, larger-than-life, electric presence throughout his career.

Savage was a major contributor to WrestleMania's early days as world champ, as one of the most memorable IC champs of all time, as Hogan's partner and later as his rival. He later starred for WCW, serving as one of its top wrestlers for years.

His interviews were enthralling, off-kilter works of art. In the ring, his artistry continued. His resume is loaded with classic bouts including beloved clashes with Ricky Steamboat, Ric Flair and Ultimate Warrior.

Rikishi

  • Career Highlights: WWE Intercontinental Championship, World Tag Team Championship
  • Inducted By: The Usos

A tag team specialist early on, the big man worked as Fatu and Prince Alofa. He wrestled for WCW, Puerto Rico's World Wrestling Council, World Class Championship Wrestling and eventually WWE.

He was one-half of The Headshrinkers, who battled in the WWE's tag team division in the early '90s.

It was as the dance-happy, sunglasses-wearing Rikishi that he achieved his peak in popularity. He made a fun contribution to the Attitude Era as part of Too Cool.

His sons will have the privilege of welcoming him into the Hall to celebrate his long career.

Schwarzenegger

  • Career Highlights: Mr. Universe (three times), Mr. Olympia (seven times), Governor of California (2003-2011), Golden Globe Winner
  • Inducted by: Triple H

Arnold is most famous for his roles in movies like Total Recall, Terminator and Predator. That followed a career as a champion bodybuilder and preceded one in state politics.

The celebrity wing is set to usher him in thanks to his appearance on SmackDown in 1999. That night, he gave Triple H a beating in front of a live audience. He has also made a guest appearance on Raw just last year.

He inducted Bruno Sammartino into the Hall in 2014 and now sees that role reversed, with The Game doing the honors.

Zbyszko

  • Career Highlights: AWA World Heavyweight Championship, WCW World Television Championship. WWE World Tag Team Championship, Wrestling Observer Newsletter Feud of the Year (1980)
  • Inducted By: Bruno Sammartino

Going by "The Living Legend," Zbyszko carved out a career that stretched from the 1970s to the 2010s. In that time, he wrestled for AWA, WCW, TNA and Georgia Championship Wrestling.

Aside from his work as part of WCW commentary, Zbyszko is most famous for his feud with former mentor Sammartino. The two foes packed arenas night after night as they went at each other's throats, including in a memorable Steel Cage match at Shea Stadium in 1980.

Renowned for his trash-talking skills, he was a tremendous heel and later translated that to the announce desk for several years.

Bushwhackers

  • Career Highlights: WWC World Tag Team Championship, Wrestling Observer Newsletter Five-Star Match (1986 vs. The Fantastics)
  • Inducted By: John Laurinaitis

Butch Miller and Luke Williams' career had two distinct halves. As The Sheepherders, they were famous for their violent, often bloody matches. When they traveled to WWE, they became a pair of goofs most known for licking each other.

The Sheepherders portion of their career saw them win championships and make an impact in New Zealand, Canada's Stampede Wrestling and elsewhere.

The move to WWE saw them become the tag division's comic relief. They were midcarders during an era loaded with great teams.

Blayze

  • Career Highlights: WWE Women's Championship, AWA World Women's Championship, IWA World Women's Championship, Pro Wrestling Illustrated Rookie of the Year (1988)
  • Inducted By: TBA

Blayze (also known as Madusa) is one of the most successful female wrestlers of all time.

She rose to the top wherever she went, be it at AWA, in Japan or as the gem of the WWE women's division. In addition to an overflowing collection of championships, her resume boasts excellent matches against competitors like Akira Hokuto and Bull Nakano.

The top-notch ring worker is most famous for throwing the WWE women's title in the trash on WCW Monday Nitro.

WWE has clearly moved past that insult and has decided to salute one of the greats of women's wrestling.

Fujinami

  • Career Highlights: IWGP Championship (six times), NWA World Heavyweight Championship, WWE Junior Heavyweight Championship, Wrestling Observer Newsletter Hall of Fame
  • Inducted By: Ric Flair

A technical wizard, Fujinami was one of the finest in-ring performers of his era.

Much of his success came in Japan as one of New Japan Pro Wrestling's star attractions in the '80s and '90s. Matches with Flair, Vader and Shiro Koshinaka make up an impressive greatest hits collection.

Fujinami also competed for WWE in the '70s, making a name for himself as the junior heavyweight champ. His innovation also earns him a Hall of Fame spot, as he introduced both the Dragon Sleeper and Dragon Suplex into the wrestling ring.

Nash

  • Career Highlights: Founding member of NWO, WWE Championship, WCW World Heavyweight Championship, World Tag Team Championship
  • Inducted By: Shawn Michaels

After struggling with a variety of ill-fitting gimmicks, Nash found his footing as the leather-clad bodyguard employed to protect Shawn Michaels. A run as WWE champ soon followed, completing an impressive stretch that also saw him and Michaels win the tag titles.

Big Daddy Cool left for WCW and was a cornerstone for that company as it challenged and overtook WWE for ratings. He, Scott Hall and Hogan formed one of the most influential and significant factions in wrestling history.

Nash now follows those men into the Hall, headlining the latest class of inductees.
