B/R StudiosMar 25, 2015
In 1986, Hoosiers came out telling a story of Indiana high school basketball in the 1950s. It ends with a buzzer-beating shot by Hickory's star player, Jimmy Chitwood.
What you might not know is that the movie is based off a true story of a star player who took a last-second shot for small Milan (Indiana) High School in the 1954 state championship game. His name was Bobby Plump.
Watch as Bleacher Report tells the story of the Milan Miracle and introduces you to the real life Jimmy Chitwood.
