Coverage Details

Sky Sports have made assurances that viewers will receive the best possible coverage for the super fight, which sees undefeated Mayweather (47-0-0) face eight-division champion Pacquiao (57-5-2).
Pac-Man is the current WBO welterweight world champion—since his victory over Timothy Bradley in April 2014—while American Mayweather holds the WBC and WBA titles.
Managing Director of Sky Sports Barney Francis outlined the channel's coverage plans on being awarded the fight ahead of several other fierce competitors, per Sky Sports:
"This fight has everything and is set to be one of the biggest sports events of the year. As the home of boxing in the UK and Republic of Ireland, we’re thrilled to be awarded the rights. We’ll provide Sky Sports viewers with the best possible build-up across our channels and outlets and the best coverage of the fight itself from our team in Las Vegas.
"
While Money is the favourite for the Las Vegas fight, it is set to be an incredible spectacle, and the American certainly has what it takes to defend his unbeaten record, per boxing writer Kevin Mitchell:
Many are disappointed that the fight is taking place when both men are in the twilight of their careers—Mayweather is 38 years old, Pacquiao 36—but in the past it looked as though it may never happen.
It is set to be quite an occasion, with the Filipino looking to topple his long-term rival, and those in the UK and Ireland now know exactly where they need to go to see the action unfold.
