Darian Stewart to Broncos: Latest Contract Details, Comments and Reaction
The Denver Broncos bolstered their secondary Friday, as the team passed along news of a new deal with safety Darian Stewart, via its official Twitter account:
Stewart spent the first four years of his career with the St. Louis Rams but played for the Baltimore Ravens in 2014. He must have enjoyed life in the AFC because he went from one AFC contender to another with this move.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Stewart only has two interceptions in his career (one of them came last season), but he is fairly durable and has played in at least 12 games every year since he entered the league. He laced it up in all 16 contests for the Ravens in 2014 and provides more depth in the secondary for a Denver squad that is looking to finally get over the hump with Peyton Manning and win a Super Bowl.
Stewart is a physical presence in the middle of the field, which will help the Broncos secondary that finished ninth in the league in opposing passing yards allowed per game in 2014. If Denver hopes to win the Super Bowl, it will have to get through the likes of Tom Brady and Andrew Luck, so adding depth at the safety position will help.
