NFL free agency began Tuesday, and many fans experienced mixed emotions. One of the most shocking trades of the day occurred when the New Orleans Saints shipped tight end Jimmy Graham to the Seattle Seahawks.

Many Saints fans were confused and disappointed by the trade, but this seven-year-old girl took the news especially hard.

Ashley-Ann Woods uploaded video of her daughter after learning Graham was traded, and the little girl's reaction is devastating.

Update from Sunday, March 15

When Jimmy Graham saw the video of young Lexia Woods, he wanted to do something to make her feel better.

Boy, did he ever.

According to The Post and Courier's Andy Paras, Graham recently reached out to the Woods family and invited Lexia to Seattle for the Seahawks' home opener. Ashley-Ann Woods, Lexia's mother, told Paras about the exchange with Graham.

"She felt a lot better when Jimmy reached out to her," Ashley-Ann said. "He said watching the video made him smile. She said, 'Mom, I made Jimmy smile.' To her that was the most important thing."

Graham's gesture certainly helped comfort young Lexia.

"It was really nice that he sent me a message," Lexia said, per Paras. "That made me feel better. I’ve never been texted by a football player."
