Big Plans

Apparently, Eubank doesn't mind looking past an opponent. He's so confident he'll beat Chudinov that he's already lining up his next two fights. The opponents he has in mind are pretty big fish in the middleweight pond.
Per Nick Parkinson of ESPN, Eubank would like to avenge his only defeat to Saunders and then take on WBA middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin. That's a serious call-out from the 25-year-old, second-generation talent, but he's never lacked confidence. Per Matt Morlidge of the Daily Mail, Eubank said this about his upcoming opponent:
"On paper he's the Interim World Champion and the man I must beat to get the belt. But having seen him face-to-face and looked him deep in the eyes, I see a man who is up against insurmountable odds."
Could this be an example of best-laid plans destined to go horribly wrong, or will Eubank prove to be pugilistically prophetic?
Not Going Down Without a Fight

Eubank has the name. He'll also have the crowd behind him as an Englishman fighting in London. However, Chudinov will enter the ring as the champion, and he has no plans to give up his title.
Chudinov has heard Eubank's claims, and it appears to have lit a fire under him.
He talks about the upcoming fight in the interview below with iFL TV:
Though Chudinov has had only had 16 professional fights, the 28-year-old Russian has yet to be defeated in his career. As he indicated in the interview, Golovkin is also someone who is on his radar. Both would seemingly have some work to do before ascending to the level of popularity that would make them an attractive foe for Golovkin.
That said, you can only ignore an undefeated champion for so long. Chudinov has to keep winning to keep hope alive for a major scrap with Golovkin.
Prediction
Chudinov is tough. He has solid defense, and he puts pressure on his opponents. His problem against Eubank will be quickness. The challenger's hand speed is superior, and he also appears to be the harder puncher.
Chudinov also has a tendency to punch wide with his power shots. With those flaws and physical disadvantages, it seems Eubank will have an opportunity to score an impressive knockout win.
Eubank may not be ready to challenge Golovkin, but a knockout victory should help to set up another shot at Saunders.
