WWE Fastlane 2015: Biggest Takeaways from Latest PPV Event
As is expected from the final pay-per-view before WrestleMania, WWE Fastlane gave us plenty of talking points to take away from the inaugural event.
Not only was there plenty of shape and format added to the WWE WrestleMania 31 card, but there was also plenty of character development and high-profile points for discussion too.
Nobody Puts Guys Over Like Daniel Bryan

Fresh Backstage WWE Rumors 👊

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
The main event between Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns was a blockbuster. In fact, it was perhaps the most entertaining singles match Reigns has had since The Shield split.
And while Reigns more than played his part in a match that had plenty of back and forth, Bryan again remained the focal point, helping to put Reigns over as a legitimate and credible opponent for Brock Lesnar.
While the WWE stumbles along with Bryan's plans for WrestleMania, it's clear that the best wrestler in the company is being used as a tool to help push other guys up in the eyes of WWE fans, with Reigns a prime example of that.
Even though the crowd at Fastlane was subdued, there was still enough to suggest that Bryan more than played his part in helping get Reigns into a position to pull off a feud with Lesnar. The Raw after Fastlane seemed to confirm that too. Bryan was again cutting a promo to help someone else's fortunes rather than his own.
The Tag Division Has Fresh Hope
Every single tag team that has lifted the WWE Tag Team Championships over the past two years has been heralded as the savior of the division.
However, with Cesaro and Tyson Kidd now at the head of the division, the WWE seems to have rewarded two of its most talented wrestlers with a legitimate push.
While the tag division doesn't quite have the same prestige it did when main event stars such as The Rock, Steve Austin and Triple H were flirting with it, there is still plenty of potential moving forward.
Cesaro has been on a long road back to redemption since his inexplicable drop down the card just after WrestleMania XXX, while Kidd has honed his skills magnificently in NXT after a drop in fortunes over the last couple of years.
And in The Usos, WWE has a credible babyface team who Kidd and Cesaro can feud with for a lengthy period of time. Throw a heel Natalya and face Naomi into the mix as the sparring sidelines, and you have a tag rivalry that could run and run.
Bray Wyatt's Career Could Be Defined at WrestleMania
Whether anyone actually believed The Undertaker was coming out to address Bray Wyatt at WWE Fastlane is up for debate, but the moment Wyatt emerged from the casket was a great twist.
Although some of Wyatt's recent promos have had a level of repetition in them, he is clearly doing a good job in ramping up hype ahead of a potential showdown with The Undertaker at WWE WrestleMania 31.
Some have questioned the decision to keep The Undertaker off TV until WrestleMania, which now seems likely given how there are just under five weeks to go until the big show.
However, with Wyatt acting as chief operator of the feud with an absent Deadman, it's important to remember that the WWE has done this kind of thing before. The Undertaker's match against Kane at WrestleMania XX featured Taker off television for a period of time before returning on the night to defeat to his brother.
This almost feels like the match that could make or break Wyatt as a top WWE star now. He has stalled somewhat since his defeat to John Cena at WrestleMania 12 months ago, but a convincing win here could really help to launch him back up the card once again.
And judging by the legwork he's been putting in to hype this feud, the signs look promising for Bray.
