WWE's Top Tweets, Instagram Photos and Viral Videos for Week of February 16
Fittingly enough, both the sports and entertainment worlds merged into WWE social media this week. Jon Stewart, Tracy Morgan and Wayne Rooney all found their way into the best WWE-centered tweets, videos and Instagram photos.
Stewart showed off his trash-talking skills. Morgan handed John Cena a rare defeat. Rooney, meanwhile, teased a WrestleMania showdown with Bad News Barrett.
And the Internet was there to catch it all.

We begin with that brief battle between Morgan and Cena. Over the weekend, Saturday Night Live celebrated its 40th year of being on the air.
Cena was among the many guest stars who popped up, the former champ taking a bump for the sake of comedy:
It was a busy week for Cena. Not only did he knock his Fastlane opponent Rusev flat on his back and tangle with Morgan, but he also showed up on an episode of Parks and Recreation.
He played himself, eventually getting dunked in a dunk tank in his scene. WWE's Instagram shared a still of him on the set with Amy Poehler:
The photo captures the goofy tone of his cameo.
Goofy is also an apt way to describe Stewart's first foray into pro wrestling promos. Seth Rollins took a shot at the host of The Daily Show on Monday's Raw. He claimed that he could take over hosting duties for Stewart and make that show "watchable."
Apparently Stewart was listening. He responded by calling out Mr. Money in the Bank in most entertaining fashion:
The mini-feud continued. Rollins welcomed the challenge on Twitter:
Rollins' former partner Roman Reigns was creating his own online buzz. During Daniel Bryan's bout with Big Show on Monday night, the powerhouse looked to distract the man he will collide with at Fastlane.
He tossed T-shirts into the crowd and took selfies with fans. Among the folks who posed with Reigns was Marcus Stroman of the Toronto Blue Jays.
Stroman tweeted the shot:
Barrett and English footballer Rooney won't be taking any photos together anytime soon. They are more likely to lock horns.
The Intercontinental champ called Rooney out for a dive during a recent match against Preston North End FC.
The situation escalated in a hurry. Before fans knew it, the two had booked themselves in a tag team match at WrestleMania 31:
Before that unlikely-to-happen bout, Barrett has to focus on Dean Ambrose coming after his title. The Lunatic Fringe didn't so much earn that championship opportunity as much as he created it himself.
When Barrett refused to accept his challenge, Ambrose tied him to a ring post and forced him to sign a contract for a title match.
WWE later posted Barrett's "signature" on Instagram:
That contract wouldn't hold up in any court. It does, though, go uncontested in the kooky business called pro wrestling. It's a place unlike any other, where thrilling, unexpected and nonsensical events all come to pass.
That was on display in Bleacher Report's latest Sports Gods clip.
In it, the God of Pro Wrestling (who resembles Randy Savage more than a little) lays out how he would handle getting the most excitement out of the NBA playoffs:
The scenario—featuring Jim Ross, LeBron James and Michael Jordan flying in on a harness—is far more entertaining than what's actually going to happen. A Memphis Grizzlies-Atlanta Hawks Finals just doesn't have the spark that Jordan channeling Shawn Michaels from WrestleMania XII does.
