WWE SmackDown: Spoiler-Free Preview for February 19
A last-minute sales pitch for Fastlane goes down on the Feb. 19 edition of WWE SmackDown.
WWE has one more shot at generating excitement for the upcoming pay-per-view. Bad News Barrett, Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns are all in action, all looking to grab more handfuls of momentum en route to Fastlane.
Fans will also be betting on that card getting a new addition or two. The go-home show features a number of Superstars still without a dance partner for Sunday night.

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
The BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida, hosted Seth Rollins, Erick Rowan and others on Tuesday. The taped action won't air, though, until 8 p.m. ET on Syfy.
The following is a spoiler-free look at the long list of matches that will comprise Thursday's SmackDown.
The Miz vs. Daniel Bryan
The Miz and Bryan's careers have transformed greatly since they battled over the United States Championship in 2010. Back then, The Miz was the more established star, while Bryan aimed to prove that he belonged.
Bryan is now set to headline the next pay-per-view, his fanbase pulling for him to work his way into the WrestleMania main event for the second year in a row. The Miz, meanwhile, is more of a comedy wrestler, a midcarder who isn't assigned any work at Fastlane.
When they meet on Thursday's SmackDown, they could put together a standout performance. They did display good chemistry in their past feud. However, the focus could be more on some goofy antics featuring Damien Mizdow.
Will we mostly see The Miz asking his personal assistant to shine his boots mid-match, or will this be a more serious affair, one designed to add to Bryan's momentum?
Ryback vs. Kane
Continuing their on-and-off rivalry, Ryback tangles with Corporate Kane once again.
The Big Guy has mostly dominated their previous showdowns, including a win in a Chairs match at TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs. Whether he can notch another victory isn't as interesting as whether this will lead to a new Fastlane bout.
The PPV card is a bit thin at the moment.
These two have yet to put a decisive end to their feud, and another Kane and Ryback collision sounds like something the company would throw in for the pre-show.
Bad News Barrett vs. R-Truth
Thanks to some illegal, forceful methods, Barrett is now set to face Dean Ambrose at Fastlane. Before that defense of his Intercontinental Championship, he gets a chance to warm up.
R-Truth enters as the underdog. WWE hasn't done much with him as of late other than ask him to lie down for other stars.
His fans, though, can hope that the IC title curse comes into play. Non-title losses have been the norm for the company's midcard champs.
Either way, this is not a thrilling match on paper.
The Ascension vs. The New Day
A pair of recent additions to the tag team division meet, both in search of real momentum.
WWE hasn't given either team a clear direction. The Ascension have been far from the dominating force they were at NXT. They have mostly beat up no-name jobbers, but not in as impressive fashion as we've seen from them in the past.
As for Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and Big E, Cesaro and Tyson Kidd used them as a stepping stone to title contention.
This battle will make it clearer who the company is higher on for the moment. Someone has to step up as the team that is ready to move in on whoever wins the feud between The Usos and Cesaro and Kidd.
Roman Reigns vs. Luke Harper
Power, intensity and jaw-rattling shots await fans.
Reigns and Harper once clashed as members of The Shield and The Wyatt Family, respectively. Now on their own, they will look to bash each other's heads in again.
Harper has been used as a tough test for others to pass. Ambrose survived their fight on Monday's Raw to help push him toward his IC title match.
Reigns now looks to do the same thing before taking on Bryan at Fastlane.
Does WWE toy with our expectations here and have Reigns lose? That upset would have him looking vulnerable heading into his showdown with Bryan, making it less clear who will win that night.
Erick Rowan vs. Big Show
In another TLC rematch, Rowan looks to shake his recent slump. While his former "brothers" have gone on to taste victory post-Wyatt Family, Rowan hasn't been familiar with that sensation.
He can bounce back in a big way against the giant.

Big Show, meanwhile, should be trying to impress The Authority. After some tension with Kane, Triple H and company, they have to be unsure of how committed The World's Largest Athlete is to their cause.
And as with Ryback and Kane, fans will be wondering if this leads to a Fastlane match.
Paige vs. Cameron
When The Bella Twins stole Paige's ring gear on Monday's Raw, the No. 1 contender reached out to Cameron for help. Not surprisingly, Cameron was rude and brushed her off.
Paige now gets a chance to exact some payback. She can knock Cameron in the teeth before attempting to take home the Divas Championship at Fastlane.
Will this simply be prep for that bout, or will Nikki Bella find a way to make this her moment? The one thing that's sure is that Paige will keep a closer eye on her clothes before match time.
Tyson Kidd vs. Jimmy Uso
WWE returns to the formula of putting on singles matches between tag team rivals.
These two will meet at Fastlane with their partners at their sides and the tag titles on the line. For now, each man will go it alone, looking to soften up his opponent before that meeting.
Kidd's mat skills and Jimmy's high flying will have fans expecting high-quality action here. How will Cesaro, Jey Uso, Natalya or Naomi figure into the story, though?
WWE has a tag team bout to get folks excited about, so chaos unfolding on Thursday night will be no surprise.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Seth Rollins
A familiar matchup, one fueled by great chemistry, happens yet again.
Ziggler and Rollins have met several times as part of the ongoing angle featuring The Authority and the members of Team Cena. The results have generally been entertaining, even if it's something we have seen a lot of over the past year.
On Monday's Raw, The Showoff planted Rollins' head into the mat and earned a win. Rollins looks to respond in the rematch.
With these two being among the biggest stars on the roster not yet on the Fastlane card, one has to wonder what kind of PPV implications this battle has. Does the result lead to them going at it on Sunday as well, or is this essentially a substitute for working that show?
In addition to a plethora of matches, Thursday's SmackDown is set to provide the finishing touches on the Fastlane build, as WWE looks to coax folks into tuning into the first-ever edition of the pay-per-view.
