Josh Gordon Week 17 Suspension Grievance Filed by NFLPA
Josh Gordon may not be able to play during the 2015 season, but the Cleveland Browns wide receiver is fighting the team over his suspension in Week 17.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the NFL Players' Association is taking action against the Browns after sitting Gordon down in the final game of the 2014 regular season:

Mary Kay Cabot of Northeast Ohio Media Group reported details on the basis behind Gordon's grievance:
"Josh Gordon is fighting his one-game suspension by the Browns for the season finale on the grounds that he had never been told that he was late to five or six other team functions, as the club said he was when it banned him, a league source told Northeast Ohio Media Group.
"
Gordon, who missed the first 10 games of last season for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy, was suspended by the Browns for reportedly missing the team's walkthrough the day before their game against Baltimore on December 28.
At the time, Albert Breer of the NFL Network reported on Twitter that if the Browns paid Gordon for the game that would allow him to accrue necessary service time to become a free agent sooner:
The troubled wide receiver was recently suspended by the NFL once again for another violation of the substance abuse policy, this time for at least one year at which time he can apply for reinstatement with no guarantees.
If Gordon wins his grievance and is reinstated by the NFL prior to the 2016 season, would be eligible for free agency one year sooner. If not, the Browns will retain his rights for an extra year.
