NBA All-Star Game Shoes 2015: Designs the Top Players Will Be Wearing
Finally, NBA All-Star weekend has returned to New York City.
The last time these festivities were held in the Big Apple, Michael Jordan was wearing a Chicago Bulls uniform, Tim Duncan was about to win Rookie of the Year and Dikembe Mutombo was so much more than a Geico spokesperson.
It's been 17 years since the 1998 NBA All-Star Game went down in Madison Square Garden. That year, behind Jordan's MVP performance, the Eastern Conference beat its Western Conference foe, 135-114.

Players' Picks for Most Overrated, Underrated
Besides the on-court action, one of the best traditions of the All-Star Game is enjoying all of the eclectic sneakers courtesy of the league's best players.
Once again, we've gotten a bunch of dope colorways and variant models to feast our eyes on. Here's a look at some of the very best ones.
Curry One "Dark Matter"
Stephen Curry's first signature kicks arrived earlier this year and looked fantastic. For the All-Star Game, the lethal Golden State Warriors sharpshooter will be rocking the "Dark Matter" version of his Under Armour sneakers.
The black laces, a purple camo upper and neon sole make for one of the best-looking shoes we've seen in a while.
Perhaps these "Dark Matter" Curry Ones will be all he needs to win the NBA Three-Point Contest and the All-Star Game MVP award.

Kyrie 1
The trend of blessing young NBA point guards with their own signature sneakers continues with Cleveland Cavaliers star Kyrie Irving.
Irving, known for his handles and slashing ability, has found the perfect shoe in the Kyrie 1. This Nike model boasts a narrow fit that is ideal for support and fluidity.
When Nike decided to unmask the All-Star Game version of the shoe, all bets were off. This Kyrie 1 is beautiful. A glow-like sole enriched by a gray mesh overlay and a dazzling swoosh emblem make these kicks eye-catching.
Be on the lookout for Kyrie and his signature shoes when he checks in during the 2015 All-Star Game.

LeBron 12
Life is good for LeBron James. The man has a movie coming out, his Cavaliers are finally starting to click and, on top of that, he's made it to his 11th-consecutive All-Star Game.
To honor James' accomplishments, Nike built a special version of the LeBron 12s. A white, Shrek-green and black trifecta of colors work perfectly to make these All-Star versions one of the top models around.
More than anything else, you have to love the sole on those gems. Fortunately for all of us, LeBron loves to sky above the rim. That means we'll be able to see that glorious sole as he's jamming the basketball all evening long.
Don't miss out on viewing the hyper-pink shapes embedded in there. Those bursts of color add a sweet touch to the rest of the hues dancing around the sole.

D Lillard 1 "NYC All-Star" Edition
Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard has ice-water running through his veins. That's not even a cliche. The man really has that "please turn up the heat, it's too cold in here" clutch factor going for him.
To honor Lillard, Adidas launched the D Lillard 1 earlier this year. The shoe has taken off and become one of the best-looking silhouettes in the last couple of years.
The "NYC All-Star" edition of this shoe is an elegant take on an already clean-looking design. A white-leather upper and matching snakeskin texture give it a vibrant feel.
With a black toe and speckled midsole accompanying all of that white, the pattern makes these kicks extraordinarily fresh.
Definitely keep your peepers peeled for Lillard and his sneakers during the game.

Air Jordan XX9 "Pearl"
Russell Westbrook is one of the top players in the NBA who doesn't have his own shoe—yet. But that's cool. The fact that he gets to fly around Madison Square Garden's legendary court in a pair of these bad boys isn't a consolation prize by any means.
The Air Jordan XX9 is stunning. It fits well and has been pumped with high-grade materials, while the one-piece woven upper that was implemented makes these particular Jordans one of the top performing models in the brand's lavish history.
Westbrook was given the chance to display the "Pearl" edition XX9s for the All-Star Game. Taking an already near flawless basketball shoe and dousing it with white and just the right amount of red was crucial.
Focus in on Westbrook's kicks early and often. In the All-Star Game's free-flowing environment, he should be able to make Jordan Brand proud.
