Bray Wyatt Would Benefit from a WWE WrestleMania 31 Win over Undertaker
Bray Wyatt exists to frighten children.
In the parallel WWE Universe he's the monster in the closet, almost literally. His monologues are conducted in front of a pitch-black backdrop filled with smoke. WWE makes no bones about booking Wyatt as its resident boogeyman. Just to make sure, Wyatt quickly eliminated the Boogeyman character in the Royal Rumble.
To say Wyatt is a bad man is selling him short. He's subhuman.

Wyatt's most recent string of promos revolve around fear and death. In his sermon from Raw, which WWE titled "Bray Wyatt Ponders the Afterlife," Wyatt asks, "Where do we go when we die?"
It's clear The Undertaker is the subject of each of these dark manifestos. F4WOnline (h/t WrestlingInc.com) recently reported WWE is planning a match between Wyatt and Undertaker. WWE's direction is obvious even without the context of a backstage report.
"I know you can hear me, but now my eyes are wide-open, and I don't fear you anymore," said Wyatt toward the end of his message.
A showdown between Wyatt and Undertaker at WrestleMania pits WWE's lords of darkness, both past and present, against one another. It's further evidence that Wyatt has arrived, especially if he wins.
Undertaker and Wyatt might be a terrible in-ring showcase. This could be one ridiculous segment after another between two supernatural characters.
There's no straight man to keep this feud from becoming hocus-pocus theater. WWE would need to hire Tim Burton as a creative consultant to make the feud seem more realistic.
From a physical standpoint, Undertaker is in the twilight of his career, and Wyatt is still growing as a wrestler. Regardless, with an elusive WrestleMania win over The Phenom, Wyatt will be set for life.
After suffering a shocking loss to Brock Lesnar, many feel Undertaker's streak is dead. It's not.
He's still the most dominant WrestleMania performer in history. Despite his defeat at WrestleMania XXX, he has only suffered one loss in 22 appearances.
Every WrestleMania match featuring Undertaker is defined by his streak, active or not. A young upstart beating Undertaker at WrestleMania still means something. It's a win Wyatt can use to lay claim to a future WWE World Heavyweight Championship match.
A win for Wyatt furthers WWE's theme of a youth movement, where an old phenom is supplanted by a young one.
Beating Undertaker would be the most important win of Wyatt's career. This wouldn't just be a win but more of a moment that transcends wrestling.
It would signify the night he became the undisputed king of strange. The new dark lord. The monster for the next generation of fear, not just among children but for an entire genre.
