WWE Fastlane 2015: Feuds Most Deserving of Midcard Spot
With WWE WrestleMania 31 just around the corner, there are a number of feuds that the upcoming February pay-per-view, Fastlane, will showcase.
While a couple of these—Daniel Bryan vs. Roman Reigns and the confrontation between Sting and Triple H—will dominate the latter part of the show, there is plenty going on elsewhere.
One prime example of that will be Rusev vs. John Cena, the beginning of a feud that will likely conclude with Rusev's undefeated streak ending at the hands of Cena.

The United States champion has had a couple of scratchy feuds during that run—think of the rivalry with Mark Henry that was suddenly canned, for example—but this should be different.
A chance to feud with the company's biggest star will not only elevate Rusev to new levels but will help Cena breathe new life into the middle of the card.
Having him pick up a midcard title—whether that be at Fastlane or at WrestleMania—will only help to improve the overall shape of the card too.
The WWE has inconsistently booked the tag division in recent months. While a number of teams have had extended runs with the belts, current champions The Usos have not been in any worthwhile feud that has gained them extensive TV time.
However, they now have two great opponents to square off against, and Fastlane should see them get a worthy spot in the middle of the card. Cesaro and Tyson Kidd look a good, neat pair together, and they have the kind of chemistry that makes them a worthy addition to any card.
It should really be the feud that the WWE uses to carry the tag division through Mania and beyond. The Usos, Cesaro and Kidd all have great in-ring ability, and we've seen some great matches over the last few weeks between all four guys.
If the WWE is looking anywhere else for a decent midcard feud, they'd be wise to take a look at the Intercontinental Championship.
Despite winning his fifth intercontinental title, Bad News Barrett hasn't picked up much momentum since his return from injury late last year. In Dean Ambrose, however, Barrett has a rival who can help move him forward as a credible champion. Ambrose is over with WWE fans—that much we already know. His feud with Barrett will help the IC title attain the same prestige its sister title, the United States Championship, possesses.
With Ambrose and Cena moving down to work with some guys in the midcard, it's only going to help boost the overall appeal of every show the WWE puts on.
