WWE Superstar of the Week for February 7
Things seemed to calm down a bit in WWE this week. The weather was back to normal, the Royal Rumble backlash died down a bit, and everyone's main focus was building the upcoming Fast Lane pay-per-view.
Raw and SmackDown were uneventful for the most part, but that allowed a few notable names to shine brighter than the rest.
Before we get to the Superstar of the Week, let's take a look at a few names who were in the running.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Honorable Mention: Roman Reigns
Despite the recent backlash, Roman Reigns stood his ground and delivered the same kind of performances we have grown accustomed to.
You would think being told you have to fight for the same title shot you just won by defeating 29 other Superstars for would be upsetting, but Reigns took it in stride.
Now that he has a match against one of the most popular Superstars to come along in years (Daniel Bryan) at Fast Lane, he is going to have an uphill battle to get the fans back on his side.
Honorable Mention: Daniel Bryan
Speaking of Daniel Bryan, he is another wrestler who remains one of the most consistently solid performers on the roster.
The reason he is always going to give a good performance is because he is playing himself. He isn't pretending to be a tough guy or some kind of cult leader.
That may be the secret to his success. Instead of trying to be a character, Bryan is just going out there and being Bryan, and the crowd recognizes this and cheers him for it. It's easier to connect with a real person than it is a caricature.
Honorable Mention: Triple H
Last, and definitely not least, is Triple H. The on-screen chief operating officer might not be an active wrestler at the moment, but he gets an honorable mention for his interview with Steve Austin on the WWE Network.
Sure, some of his answers were corporate responses, and he may have skirted a few questions, but the majority of his words seemed honest.
He tackled some hard questions about Chyna, CM Punk, kayfabe being dead and several other topics you would never expect to hear him address in an open forum. You have to respect him for being willing to put himself out there like that.
Superstar of the Week for Feb. 7: Seth Rollins
It really should come as no surprise to anyone that Seth Rollins gets the distinction of being the Superstar of the Week.
Not only is he one of the most talented performers inside the ring, but he is also one of the few people who can pick up a mic and keep our attention for as long as he wants.
Ever since The Shield split up in the middle of 2014, WWE has put a lot of responsibility on Rollins' shoulders, and he has handled every bit of it like a seasoned veteran.
His promos have been on par with the best heels in the company, but it's his ability between the ropes that puts him on a different level than 99 percent of the roster.
Rollins was one of the bright spots during the opening segment of Monday's Raw, but it was his match with Daniel Bryan later in the evening that really shined.
These are two of the most proficient wrestlers in the industry today, and they have the kind of chemistry with one another that only develops after years of working together.
Ever since their days in Ring of Honor, they have been proving everyone wrong at every step. Neither one of them fits the mold of the ideal WWE Superstar, and that is part of what makes them so unique.
Moving forward to Thursday's SmackDown, Bryan and Rollins stole the show yet again, but this time Rollins had his security team helping him.
Despite not winning either one of those matches, Rollins deserves to be recognized for making them entertaining.
It's not just his ability to perform on a high level, but it's the variety of offense he uses that makes each one of his matches completely different.
Often times you will see someone become repetitive in his routine, and his matches start to become indistinguishable from each other. Every bout Rollins wrestles is completely different, and that is why he is so fun to watch.
One night he will be vicious and focus more on his strikes, while the next will be more about his high-risk offense. Every performance is unique, and he tailors his style to the opponent he is facing on that particular night.
It's hard to believe that someone who isn't even 30 years old can be so far ahead of the curve. Sometimes a person is just naturally gifted at his chosen profession, and Rollins is definitely one of them.
What do you think? Was Rollins the Superstar of the Week in your eyes? Who do you think deserves the title if not him?
