Biggest Winner: Tom Brady, QB, New England Patriots

There were many players who shined under the pressure of the NFL Championship Game, but the biggest winner of the Super Bowl was New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.
Brady threw the ball 50 times on Sunday night, completing 37 of his passes for 328 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions. While the two interceptions were costly, Brady’s elite performance in the fourth quarter helped New England win the Super Bowl.
When asked about his confidence that his team was going to pull out the victory, even as the Seahawks marched down the field, Brady told Mike Reiss of ESPN.com:
"I felt like we were going to win the whole game, and then they made that catch. Then I had a little bit of a doubt. Then we made a great play. We've been on the other end of some great catches and not being able to finish it out. This time we made the play.
"
Whether or not you like Brady or the Patriots, his impact on the NFL and his ability to win four championships indicates he is among the greatest quarterbacks to ever play football. Against the toughest defense in the league, Brady managed to lead his team to victory.
There is still plenty of fight left in Brady, but when he retires, he will be known as one of the best. After bringing home yet another Lombardi Trophy for New England, Brady emerged as the Super Bowl MVP.
Biggest Disappointment: Pete Carroll, Head Coach, Seattle Seahawks

In one of the most bizarre moments in Super Bowl history, the Seattle Seahawks decided to pass the ball on second down at the New England 1-yard line and were picked off in spectacular fashion.
With stellar running back Marshawn Lynch in the backfield, Seattle’s decision to let Russell Wilson throw the ball to Ricardo Lockette over the middle was not correct, and Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler made the Seahawks pay.
Many fans were livid at the play-calling, and legendary running back Emmitt Smith got into the mix by sharing his frustration on Twitter:
The play call may have come from offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell, but Seattle head coach Pete Carroll has to take responsibility for the terrible idea. Whether it was his fault or not, it will be Carroll who is unjustifiably viewed negatively for the pass play in the future.
Losing a Super Bowl on a bad call that results in an interception is an absolutely brutal way to have the season end, and this is something Carroll and the entire Seahawks coaching staff will have to think about for a long time.
