Super Bowl 2015: Prop Bet Results, Odds Payouts, Patriots vs. Seahawks Box Score
The 49th Super Bowl is in the books, with the New England Patriots covering the spread thanks to their dramatic 28-24 victory over the Seattle Seahawks.
There was also good news for prop bettors who took a risk and backed little-used Pats wideout Danny Amendola to have a big game. Less daring wagers, such as Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch and New England's all-world tight end Rob Gronkowski scoring a touchdown, were also rewarded.
Here's a full breakdown of the prop bet results. All results and odds information courtesy of Odds Shark:

Box Score
Here's how the box score broke down for this thrilling Super Bowl:
| Team | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter |
| Patriots | 0 | 14 | 0 | 14 |
| Seahawks | 0 | 14 | 10 | 0 |
First Quarter
The first quarter was a predictably tight affair as both teams tested each other out and the respective schemes became clear. A key to the early exchanges was New England's decision to lock up Seattle's receivers in press-style man coverage.

It was actually an ode to the physical techniques employed by the Seahawks' vaunted "Legion of Boom" secondary. It was also smart of Pats head coach Bill Belichick and defensive coordinator Matt Patricia to bet that cornerbacks Darrelle Revis, Brandon Browner and company would handle single matchups against Seattle's unheralded receivers.
Second Quarter
It took until the late stages of the second quarter for the Seahawks to find the answer. Offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell knew Doug Baldwin and Jermaine Kearse couldn't escape Revis and Browner. So he unleashed 6'5", 218-pounder Chris Matthews against Kyle Arrington and Logan Ryan.
The tactic worked to perfection. Sports Illustrated writer Doug Farrar detailed some of Matthews' best moments:
"There was the long catch on a perfectly thrown Russell Wilson pass with less than five minutes left in the second quarter -- that one went for 44 yards and was the big play that set up Seattle's first touchdown drive after its offense had stalled for most of the first half. Matthews separated from safety Patrick Chung and adjusted to the ball in the air.
That, by the way, was his first NFL reception.
Then, there was the 11-yard touchdown that the Seahawks went for with just six seconds left in the game -- Matthews found it more than easy to make that play, as the Patriots were playing off, and it was a game of pitch and catch for Wilson.
"
After Brady connected with Brandon LaFell on an 11-yard slant route, Matthews' first big play set up Lynch to plow over from three yards out and even things at seven each.

New England then answered via a 22-yard pass to Gronkowski. Brady could hardly believe his eyes seeing linebacker K.J. Wright in single coverage on Gronkowski, the very definition of a matchup nightmare for the defense.
But it took Wilson and the Seahawks just 29 seconds to drive 80 yards and tie the score at 14 apiece, courtesy of yet another clutch grab from Matthews.
By the end of the half, the Patriots knew they needed to stop a receiver they probably never thought would be so prominent. It was telling that Browner would begin the second half matched up with Seattle's breakout pass-catcher.
Third Quarter
One of the keys to New England's early stranglehold on the Seattle offense was how the Patriots trusted their big men in the trenches to stop the Marshawn Lynch-led running game.
Belichick and Patricia relied on beefy road graders Vince Wilfork, Alan Branch and Sealver Siliga to clog running lanes and fill gaps. That meant they rarely had to stack the box against Lynch.

But you can only keep the sledgehammer-style runner quiet for so long. Lynch began the third quarter in dominant mood. However, Seattle would rue only settling for a Steven Hauschka field goal to open the half.
Things looked better once Wilson lofted a three-yard pass to Baldwin in the back of the end zone. Suddenly the Seahawks had a 24-14 lead heading into what would be a controversial final period.
Fourth Quarter
The Patriots hung around and eventually took advantage of some missed opportunities by the Seahawks. Brady converted 3rd-and-14 and 3rd-and-8 on throws to Julian Edelman.

Amendola capped the drive with a four-yard scoring grab. Soon it would be Edelman's turn. He snatched a three-yarder to give the Pats the four-point advantage they wouldn't relinquish.
All that was left then was for undrafted rookie safety Malcolm Butler to snatch Wilson's slant pass intended for Ricardo Lockette on 2nd-and-goal.
A Super Bowl that began as a heavyweight slugfest, before threatening to descend into another one-sided romp for Seattle, ultimately ended in the most dramatic fashion.
The finish was certainly more unpredictable than many of the winning bets.
