Gareth Bale, David de Gea, Marco Reus Transfer Rumours Ruled Out by Real Madrid
Real Madrid assistant manager Paul Clement has denied Gareth Bale will join Manchester United while also ruling out moves to bring in David de Gea and Marco Reus.
Carlo Ancelotti's trusted No. 2 indicated Los Blancos' transfer activity—which has seen them secure youngsters Martin Odegaard and Lucas Silva this January—is complete. He expects Bale to lead the team in seasons to come, as reported by Amar Singh and Ashish Sharma of the London Evening Standard:
"He seems very settled here to me. In no conversation has he ever said "I'm really unhappy and I'm thinking about going back"—not at all. He has signed a long contract here at the club. I know the club see him and some other young players that they have bought as the future to drive this club forward over the next four or five years.

Bale recently admitted he isn't looking to join United, per football writer Duncan Castles:
La Liga expert Guillem Balague previously told B/R UK's Ryan Bailey that Bale will remain in the Spanish capital:
Clement also noted that Cristiano Ronaldo and Raphael Varane won't be leaving Madrid anytime soon, per Singh and Sharma:
"There is always going to be speculation and if it's not (Bale) it will be "will Cristiano (Ronaldo) ever go back to Manchester United or will he finish his career here?" or the young centre back Rafa Varane "He plays, he doesn't play." "Big clubs are looking at him." The club really see him as the future.
"
De Gea's future continues to cause speculation. Reports indicate Madrid are willing to let his contract expire at the end of the 2016 season before luring him away from Old Trafford on a free, per Mark Ogden of The Telegraph. United have slapped a £50 million price tag on the Spaniard, as reported by Charles Perrin of the Express, but Clement doesn't expect the European champions to act.

Considering Borussia Dortmund's Reus is also the current subject of strong links to Madrid, per James Dickenson of the Express, Clement's comments could shed light on how the side will operate in the summer. His quote was reported by Singh and Sharma:
"Real Madrid are always going to be linked with some of the best players and also some of the best emerging young talents. My understanding at the moment is that the club and manager's very happy with squad of players - we haven't got a big squad. But it is a squad packed with quality and there are no current plans for ins and outs.
"
Bundesliga specialist Raphael Honigstein reports that Bayern Munich will also overlook Reus:
Clement's comments may please United fans, who are sure to be nervous over De Gea's future. Until he inks a new contract, there's the nagging feeling he could turn his back on the transitional club in favour of winning silverware at the Bernabeu. He's Madrid-born, something Ancelotti's men would likely play on if a future bid does come in.
Madrid President Florentino Perez loves to secure marquee names each summer, so Clement's assertions could change at the end of the season. De Gea and Reus are sure to tempt, particularly as they can be regarded as the best players at their current clubs, so it wouldn't be surprising to see them depart sometime in the future.
