Paulo Dybala Liverpool Rumours Buoyed by Maurizio Zamparini's Summer Revelation

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has given new hope to the likes of Liverpool after revealing that Paulo Dybala will most likely leave the Sicilian outfit in the summer.

The Reds are among a gang of clubs interested in signing the Argentinian starlet, and Zamparini is quoted by the Daily Star's Alex Harris as admitting the Rosanero will struggle to keep hold of him much longer:

"

We are very close to a contract renewal and it’s a matter of days, but the negotiations are being complicated by the vultures circling him. 

Due to this pressure, it will be difficult to keep hold of him at the end of the season. I don’t want to sell my best players, it is they who cannot say no when offered four or five times what they can earn here.

"

Harris reports that the Serie A club is currently asking for £31 million if they're to let Dybala leave, but Paris Saint-Germain's pursuit promises to take Liverpool to task in their transfer attempts.

As things stand, the 21-year-old's current deal is set to expire in the summer of 2016 and David Amoyal of GianlucaDiMarzio.com states that contract negotiations have been unfruitful:

Dybala comes as one of Serie A's fastest-rising talents, a young player whose capability in front of goal would go down a treat at Anfield given their struggle for a consistent scoring presence in recent months.

Should he choose to move on this summer, the South American has a big crossroads ahead. PSG and other titanic powers may be looking for his services, but Julian De Martinis of ESPN FC forces the point that regular minutes will be critical:

Liverpool already have one new striker poised to join their cause in June, as Divock Origi's loan spell with Lille will come to an end, but the Belgian striker hasn't bagged in his last 11 Ligue 1 outings, last netting against Bastia in September.

Dybala, on the other hand, has been in fluid scoring form, and Ben McAleer illustrates that Palermo's attacking dynamo—with 10 Serie A goals this season—is more than simply a finisher:

Brendan Rodgers is finally beginning to come upon some stability in his squad, making better use of last summer's signings, but Mario Balotelli is one who continues to disappoint.

Bleacher Report's Merseyside columnist Matt Ladson has analysed the likelihood of Balotelli leaving Anfield in 2015, a departure which could in turn make room for Dybala:

Until Daniel Sturridge makes his return to Rodgers' lineup, it's unlikely that Liverpool fans will feel completely secure in their attacking promise, and even then Sturridge will need time to regain his best form.

Zamparini's comments are sure to arouse suspicion in parties from across the continent, and Jonathan Johnson of Bleacher Report claims that PSG have already had the talent scouted:

This summer, there will be but a year remaining on Dybala's Palermo contract, placing a pressure on the Eagles to either cash in or risk losing the prodigy for a cut-price sum—or free—in 2016.

For the second summer in a row, 2015 will probably see the Reds attempt to remodel their attack, with Dybala's apparent availability making him a potential tool in the renovation.
