One week from now, crowds of people will be huddled around TVs all across America to watch one game. Of course, there's a lot more that goes into the Super Bowl than just the game itself, but that's the reason for all of this madness.
The NFL's biggest event every year just so happens to be one of the most massive in the entire world. For the second straight season, the Seattle Seahawks will be in the spotlight, while the New England Patriots are back for their sixth year with head coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady.
Regardless of whom fans cheer for, there is always a rooting interest in the Super Bowl. In fact, millions watching won't even be interested in football at all, which is what makes the big game that much more interesting.

Super Bowl Breakdown

With all the national attention surrounding "deflategate," it's hard to remember there is an actual game that will be played next Sunday. Then again, if any team can focus through adversity, it's the Patriots.
Even still, there will be bigger issues this week that several members of the media will be focusing on. One topic, as Pete Prisco of CBS Sports notes, will be Marshawn Lynch and his lovable personality and rapport with the media:
That makes betting based on the basis of which team will come in more ready for the moment difficult. After the mess last year, Lynch rushed for just 39 yards on 15 attempts and scored a touchdown. Brady, on the other hand, has lost his last two Super Bowls and faces a tough "legacy" question.
In the long run, this game will come down to simply which defense cracks first and the most often. The Denver Broncos were blown out last season because the Seahawks defense was relentless, leading to points for the offense.
This time around appears to be no different with all of the weapons intact. Coach Pete Carroll said Richard Sherman and Earl Thomas, who were dinged up in the NFC Championship Game, will be ready to go in the Super Bowl, per the Seahawks' official Twitter account:
On the other side stands a defense that has been one of the best in the AFC all season long. After adding Darrelle Revis in the offseason, the Patriots have a shutdown corner of their own.
Mike Reiss of ESPN Boston passed along Revis' thoughts on Sherman claiming he's the best corner in the league:
Even if Revis or Sherman puts the clamps on receivers, both teams have bruising running backs who can make a difference. Between Lynch and LeGarrette Blount, the rushing attack for both sides will be worth the price of admission.
With each franchise having a plethora of weapons all over the field, this will be a memorable Super Bowl regardless of the outcome. Will the Seahawks repeat, or will the Patriots finally add another Lombardi Trophy after over a decade since their third? That will all be settled one week from now.
