Michael Bennett Injury: Updates on Seahawks Star's Ankle and Return
Michael Bennett, the most prolific pass-rusher on the Seattle Seahawks defense, was dealing with an injury to his ankle, but was declared active for Week 2 against the Green Bay Packers.
The Seahawks had listed Bennett as a limited participant in practice on Sept. 16, per Gregg Bell of the News Tribune.
Even though the Seahawks don't have one dominant sack artist, Bennett has been the team's best player in that category over the last two seasons with a total of 15.5 sacks.

NFL star's latest post refuels trade rumors
The 29-year-old has been a reliable presence in the lineup dating back to his final season with the Buccaneers in Tampa Bay, appearing in 48 straight games and starting all 16 games in 2014 for the first time in his career.
Seattle's usually stout defense looked lost at times in Week 1 against the St. Louis Rams, giving up 34 points and 352 yards despite forcing three turnovers.
The Seahawks are already playing without star safety Kam Chancellor because of a contract holdout, so losing another key player at any position would really have tested the limits of how much depth head coach Pete Carroll and general manager John Schneider have built through the years.
