Hibbert 'Good to Go' vs. Celtics

Head coach Frank Vogel said that Hibbert is "good to go" for Saturday's game against the Celtics, according to the Pacers' official Twitter feed.

Candace Buckner of The Indianapolis Star reported the news of Hibbert's absence and also noted Vogel's claim that Hibbert is also dealing with an infection in his elbow.
The Pacers big man has been playing despite nagging issues for most of the season, most notably an ankle sprain that's recurred on two occasions.
Despite injuries to Paul George, David West, George Hill and Hibbert this season, the Pacers have clawed their way into playoff contention and currently hold the seventh seed in the conference. Losing Hibbert for any lengthy period of time could put that in jeopardy.
Ian Mahinmi will likely receive a majority of Hibbert's minutes, with one of Indiana's bevy of small-ball options finishing out the rest. Vogel prefers to play with a traditional center, and the Pacers defense tends to dip whenever Hibbert isn't on the floor.
That's obviously not ideal for a team with such a small margin of error already in place. Look for Hibbert to get back in action as soon as he can.
