Seattle Seahawks vs. Arizona Cardinals: Live Score and Analysis for Arizona
The injury to quarterback Drew Stanton was the straw that broke the Arizona Cardinals' back this season. So many injuries the team suffered throughout the 2014 season, and so many times it didn't matter. Bruce Arians' men just kept plugging away.
But being down to a third starting quarterback did in the Cardinals (11-4) Sunday night.
Ryan Lindley completed well under 50 percent of his passes, didn't come close to throwing his first career touchdown pass and could have thrown four or five interceptions, though the Seattle Seahawks—Richard Sherman, of course—picked off just one.

The defense looked flat all game long, generating nearly no pressure on quarterback Russell Wilson.
It was an 11-point deficit at halftime, but it may as well have been 51; you just knew there was no chance Lindley and the offense would have anything to show Seattle's tough defense.
So now, the Cardinals have to pray they have enough players left to field next week against the San Francisco 49ers and can beat them while rooting for the St. Louis Rams to pull a monumental upset in Seattle. Otherwise, there is no bye, no home game and no shot of a Super Bowl.
