Marco Reus Fined over €500k for Driving for 3 Years Without a Licence
On the pitch, there have been few more intelligent players than Borussia Dortmund's Marco Reus over the last few seasons. But off the pitch, it would appear he has been a very silly boy.
An incredible story came out of Germany on Thursday that revealed the attacker has been fined a whopping €540,000 for driving for a full three years without a licence.
What's more, during that period, it is reported by The Guardian that Reus "was allegedly stopped by police several times and received speeding tickets on at least five occasions since 2011 before authorities realised he had been driving without a licence ever since."

Reus, who turned 25 in May, is considered one of the hottest properties in world football and has been linked with many of Europe's biggest clubs.
Reus accepted his fine and admitted he had been stupid to drive without a licence. He told Bild, in quotes translated by The Guardian:
"I decided back then to take that road but the reasons I did it are something I cannot really understand today.
Today I know that I was too naive and that it was stupid. I have learned my lesson and this will not happen again.
