Arsenal Transfer News: Gunners Set to Sign Polish Wonderkid and More
Arsenal are set to acquire one of the brightest young talents in Polish football after reports suggested Krystian Bielik would soon sign for the Gunners from Legia Warsaw.
Jamie Sanderson of Metro says the north London giants will grab the highly rated 16-year-old after making their move a fortnight ago for the midfielder in a deal worth £1.6 million.
Sanderson reports the teenager has been in England this week to tie up matters and to take a look at his new club's facilities after agreeing terms.

The deal will see Bielik boost his current salary of £125 a week to a huge £8000 per month, as cited by Sanderson.
Danish journalist Henrik Hindby gave some details on the talent who will not yet be well known to English football supporters:
Simon Jones of the Daily Mail had previously reported on Arsene Wenger's interest in the defensive-minded player, saying Everton were also in line to pursue the youngster.
Jones noted that Bielik was under contract to Warsaw until 2017 and "has already broken into the Polish side's first team and is earmarked for a bright future."
But it seems that Wenger has won the race and will now add the player to his youth development squad and reserve team.

In other news, Arsenal could raid Serie A for a new forward-thinking player in the summer, with the team linked to Juventus' Sebastian Giovinco.
Hannah Duncan of Metro quotes the player's agent Andrea D'Amico speaking to Sky Italia about his client's future and hinting that the Emirates may be a possible destination for the attacking midfielder:
"Giovinco to Arsenal? At the moment only Juventus can negotiate with him, later on however things can change since he has an expiring contract. I haven’t met many times with Juventus, on our end we have always been open to it.
[...]
Giovinco is 27 years old, he’s in the prime of his career and he has had some important experiences at Juventus.
"

The Italian has been on the periphery of the Old Lady's team in the past couple of seasons, only making five Serie A appearances this term and 17 last year, per WhoScored.com.
The midfielder had been a regular for the national team since 2011 but fell out of favour this year due to a lack of playing time, missing out on the World Cup in Brazil.
But the Gunners could face competition for Giovinco if they wish to buy him, with Bundesliga blogger Marco Conradie saying Italian press believe he may be on his way to Germany:
"Italian media reports claim that VfL Wolfsburg are readying a bid of around €10 million for Juventus striker Sebastian Giovinco.

There is no doubt Giovinco has ability, and as a two-time Serie A champion, he knows how to help deliver trophies.
He has a good balance between flair play and defensive positioning and would work well within Arsenal's philosophy and current tactics.
However, he is not better than any of the midfielders Wenger currently has in stock and would surely just be a squad player if he opts for London next summer.
At 27 years old, the player is at his peak and would only serve to hinder the development of Jack Wilshere and the team's younger midfielders.
It is unlikely we will see Giovinco in Wenger's side any time soon, but do not be surprised if he finds his way to the Premier League in the search of first-team football.
