Thomas Seeking Broncos Record for 100-Yard Receiving Games
Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas enters Monday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals looking to break the franchise record for most 100-yard receiving games in a single season, per ESPN Stats & Info.
Thomas is tied at eight with Rod Smith, who accomplished the feat back in 2000 as part of a 100-catch, 1,602-yard campaign. Smith's 1,602 receiving yards still stand as the franchise single-season record, and he set another team record the following year when he caught 113 receptions.
With 96 catches for 1,389 yards through 14 games, Thomas needs 18 receptions and 214 receiving yards over the final two weeks of the season to surpass Smith for the respective franchise marks.

Thomas already owns a share of one key Broncos single-season record after catching 14 touchdown passes last year to match Anthony Miller's total from 1995. Said record may not last long, as he has 11 touchdowns for the season, while Broncos tight end Julius Thomas has 12 in just 11 appearances.
Though he won't turn 27 until Christmas Day, (Demaryius) Thomas already ranks ninth on the all-time franchise list for receiving yards (5,087), along with eighth for receptions (336) and sixth for receiving touchdowns (41).
He's done all of this in five seasons, despite catching just 54 passes for 834 yards through his first two years in the league.
