Pacquiao vs. Algieri Fight: PPV Schedule, Odds and Weigh-in Live Stream
Saturday night promises to be a huge one for the boxing community. For one fighter, it might also be a career-defining moment if he can somehow pull off a huge upset.
Chris Algieri (20-0-0, 8 KOs) will step into the ring with Manny Pacquiao (56-5-2, 38 KOs), looking to take down the WBO welterweight champion. The New York native is coming off his most notable victory to date after defeating Ruslan Provodnikov.
Pac-Man, of course, recently won by decision over previously undefeated Timothy Bradley. His road to redemption has been smooth over the last two fights, but will he hit a speed bump against Algieri?
Here's a look at the full schedule, odds and weigh-in information for Saturday's intriguing bout.

Breakdown
Nearly two years ago, there were questions about how much Pacquiao had remaining in the tank. Two losses against Bradley and Juan Manuel Marquez—the latter by KO—had Pac-Man reeling and taking a nearly 11-month hiatus.
As quickly as things seemed to turn sideways for Pacquiao, he has completely righted the ship. Now he gets a chance to continue his recent tear with a bout against an unproven Algieri.
Even with the recent string of wins, he isn't going to overlook his opponent. Pacquiao spoke about Algieri, per Santos A. Perez of the Miami Herald. “We are not taking him lightly for this fight, and we are training hard for this fight because of what he proved in the Ruslan fight,” Pacquiao said. “Chris Algieri is a very dangerous fighter, and we are taking nothing for granted.”
What Algieri lacks in experience, he makes up for in size. Pacquiao's opponent is 3.5 inches taller than him and has a reach that goes a full two inches longer.
A full look at the tale of the tape was provided by Inquirer Sports:
Even with his smaller stature, Pacquiao has long been known for his speed and attacking ability. He hasn't finished a fight with a knockout since 2009, but he still has some of the fastest hands in the sport.
The one downfall for Pacquiao, however, might be the fact that he's looking ahead. In anticipation of the fight, there has been plenty of talk about a potential Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather bout despite the Filipino not stepping in the ring yet.
Dan Rafael of ESPN passed along his musings on the hype:
If Algieri does find a way to defeat Pacquiao, a rematch might be in the works. But the 35-year-old has already referenced a fight with Amir Khan in London, per Gareth A. Davies of The Telegraph.
The New York fighter is hoping to prove himself on Saturday and find more opportunities. Needless to say, quite a bit hinges on who gets his arm lifted in China.
