WWE's Best Options for the Rest of the Survivor Series Undercard
WWE heads into Survivor Series with holes in the card.
The main event is taken care of thanks to John Cena getting four allies to join him. Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt provide a budding feud for the pay-per-view. Goldust and Stardust have to face a trio of challengers.
Beyond those bouts, the event needs a few more contests. That is, unless WWE plans to have all of the night's matches go 45 minutes each.

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Cesaro, a transformed group and two rivals with unsettled business can provide Survivor Series with needed depth.
As of this writing, there are four official matches scheduled for the event. Per TheHistoryofWWE.com, Survivor Series has had at least seven matches (including the dark/pre-show bout) every year since 1995.
To fill out those remaining spots on the card, WWE should look to showcase its most talented stars who are currently without a match and create some big moments that will entice network subscribers going forward.
Randy Orton, Sheamus and Jack Swagger are all suffering storyline injuries. Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan, Bad News Barrett and Bo Dallas are all out with real ones.
That leaves WWE with limited choices, but ones that could still result in three excellent additions to Survivor Series.
New Day's Debut
WWE has a (sort of) new faction it needs to debut. Survivor Series could use the boost from seeing what they look like post-transformation.
Xavier Woods, Big E and Kofi Kingston, mostly kept out of sight for months, have undergone a gimmick makeover. Gone is the Malcom X-type rhetoric from Woods, and in its place the trio has been smiling, dancing and grooving with a choir.
What WWE has planned for these gentleman is unclear, but the crowd's curiosity should be sufficiently piqued at this point.
Let them show us their new entrance (perhaps with a full choir backing them this time around) and how their new personae will affect their new ring work. Pit Big E and Kingston against Slater Gator. That easy win would allow them to show off who they are and begin their new run with momentum.
Divas Feud Wraps Up
Alicia Fox and Paige never told the end of their story together. Paige turned on her ally as the pursuit of the Divas Championship drove her mad.
The focus has since shifted to Nikki Bella embarrassing her sister and AJ Lee getting caught in the middle of that family drama.
Paige and Fox have put on good matches before and have an existing story to build on. Fox can be furious about Paige betraying her. Paige can further her heel status by hurting Fox after the bout.
These women are among the division's best performers, and WWE should take advantage.

Making it a No. 1 Contender's match adds stakes to the action. More women need to strive to be contenders for the title. More of the division should be displayed at a time, as well.
Cesaro's Open Challenge
Cesaro is in enough with The Authority to get them to afford him a spot on the pay-per-view. He could stand in the ring and lament not being a part of the main event but announce that he would do some damage anyway.
He could issues an open challenge; Sami Zayn could answer it.
Zayn, who has been slowly working his way onto the main roster, has a long history with Cesaro. The two twice met in NXT, resulting in a classic match each time.
This is a great way to give Zayn his first signature moment, knocking a home run out of the park against a familiar foe. WWE can then go back to this rivalry once Zayn is fully aboard the main roster.
Zayn vs. Cesaro has show-stealing potential. Add that to two talented Divas getting a chance to impress and the first appearance for a remade faction, and that's a boost to an event relying heavily on its marquee matchup, one that would make for a deeper show overall.
