WWE Survivor Series 2014: Stars Who Will Shine in Defeat
The nature of a traditional five-on-five Survivor Series match means at least five competitors will be eliminated from the bout—probably more.
That's five superstars who will be chalking up losses, with the potential for up to nine to be taking pinfalls.
There will be plenty of defeat to go around come Survivor Series 2014. The question is, which wrestlers will shine even if they do end up on the wrong side of a three count?

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
While it's difficult to tell which team will come out on top Sunday, it seems like John Cena might have assembled a good enough squad to take down The Authority. However, that would mean an elimination for Rusev—and perhaps an end to his undefeated streak.
If Rusev is to be part of the losing side come Sunday, expect him to make up for it by being a major player in the match itself. The Bulgarian Brute will likely take one or two major scalps before all is said and done—and perhaps he'll even be the man to eliminate John Cena.
Then there's Seth Rollins, a man on the verge of the main event and in need of strong performances to keep his proverbial pot boiling. If Team Authority loses, it'll be because Kane and Mark Henry let the side down—expect to see great things from Rollins and Rusev.
On the other side of the coin, should Team Cena come up short, it will no doubt be Dolph Ziggler who looks good. Few wrestlers on the roster can play the plucky underdog as well as Ziggler, and even if he does taste defeat Sunday, he'll have the crowd with him all the way.
Having a strong run as intercontinental champion cut short by Authority interference is a setback for Ziggler, one he'll have to battle back from. Whether he's on the winning team or the losing team at Survivor Series, The Showoff will be out for blood.

Elsewhere on the card, it seems like AJ Lee's time as champion might be about to come to a close as she faces Nikki Bella for the Diva's Championship. While there were problems with AJ's feud with Paige, the in-ring work was usually very good, and Bella has improved in recent months. AJ will make this match memorable if her title reign is to come to an end.
Another wrestler who seems destined to lose at Survivor Series is Dean Ambrose. Bray Wyatt had him shaken last month at Hell in a Cell, and he should be able to follow that up with a win Sunday. However, Ambrose isn't the sort of superstar people get behind for his wins; he's simply a blast to watch.
The red-hot momentum of the Lunatic Fringe won't be affected one jot by a loss to Wyatt this weekend—as long as he demonstrates the same maniacal appeal that draws fans to him. Much like Daniel Bryan at this year's Royal Rumble, Ambrose doesn't need a win against Wyatt—he needs the performance.
Who else seems destined to pick up a loss at Survivor Series? Will they be able to look good doing it? Leave your thoughts in the comments section below.
