NASCAR at Homestead-Miami 2014: Start Time, Lineup, TV Schedule and More
The 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup season all comes down to one race, as four drivers will vie for a championship Sunday at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Kevin Harvick, Denny Hamlin, Joey Logano and Ryan Newman are all in search of their first career title, and the driver who finishes best among them will secure it. They will have to contend with 39 other drivers who want a good result in their own right, though, which will make the Ford EcoBoost 400 an extremely interesting affair.
There is always some form of drama involved when it comes to the final race at Homestead, but the new Chase format undoubtedly adds to it, given all four contenders are on equal footing.

Drivers to Watch
Kevin Harvick
Although any of the four remaining championship contenders could realistically hoist the trophy at the conclusion of Sunday's race, Harvick has to be considered the favorite. He is currently in better form than anyone else, and he is coming off a clutch performance that saw him triumph in a must-win race last week.
Harvick also has more experience than his three opponents, which should be beneficial when it comes to performing with everything on the line.
The No. 4 team was dominant at Phoenix last week, and Harvick believes that showing will help him immensely in the face of pressure at Homestead, according to ESPN.com's Brant James.
"To win these championships, you have to perform in those high-pressure situations. Those are situations you really live for, and all those guys got to experience it. All those guys on the team made it happen. That could be the defining moment of the year as you have the preparation leading into this week.
"
In addition to that, Harvick has the best average finish at Homestead among the four potential champions. He has never won at Homestead, but he has come close on several occasions and finished in the Top 10 on 11 of 13 starts.
Harvick has overcome a great deal of adversity to get to this point, and he has all the tools necessary to take home a championship.
Denny Hamlin

Things haven't always gone smoothly for Hamlin this season, but there is reason to like his chances Sunday, as the 33-year-old veteran has a history of success at Homestead.
He has taken the No. 11 car to victory lane in this race twice before, which is significant, since Harvick, Logano and Newman have combined for zero Homestead wins. Hamlin knows how to get the job done at this track, which is a factor that shouldn't be discounted.
Hamlin has also risen to the occasion multiple times throughout the Chase. Although he has seemingly been on the outs several times, he has always found a way to come through with a great finish when he has needed it.
Even though Hamlin may very well be the favorite aside from Harvick, he is happy to use the underdog card to his advantage:
It has been a few months since Hamlin last won a race, but he doesn't necessarily have to win in order to take the title. Hamlin figures to be near the front of the field and in the mix for much of the day, which could be enough to become champion.
Joey Logano
No remaining Chase driver has more wins than Logano's five this season, which means the future could be now for the 24-year-old star.
Logano has been heralded as NASCAR's next big thing for quite some time. He has shown flashes of brilliance, but the 2014 season represents his ascent to the sport's elite. While he has already established himself as a top driver for many years to come, a championship performance would seal it.
In order to win the title, though, Logano will have plenty to overcome. First and foremost, he doesn't have a history of success at Homestead. With just one Top 10 finish in five tries and a pedestrian average finish of 20.8, he hasn't figured out how to register consistently good finishes in South Florida.
Logano will also have to thrive from a psychological perspective. Harvick has been attempting to get into Logano's head in the week leading up to this championship race, tossing jabs in the youngster's direction, per Jeff Gluck of USA Today:
Harvick is clearly laying it on thick in an effort to gain a mental edge on his opponents, but Logano can't allow it to get to him if he wants to end the season on top.
Logano certainly faces plenty of challenges, but he has the talent to do something special.
Prediction
Along with Harvick, Hamlin and Logano, Newman can't be forgotten come Sunday. He is the overwhelming underdog among the four drivers contending for a title, but he has somehow managed to overcome the odds in order to get to this point.
There isn't a ton expected of him—he has just one Top Five in 12 Homestead races—but Newman will be motivated to register a strong finish.
The Chase drivers aren't the only ones who will look to take a checkered flag Sunday. A number of those who are no longer in the running for a title will do everything in their power to take the victory.
Carl Edwards bears watching because he is a two-time Homestead winner and has a career-best average finish of 6.6 at this track.
Jeff Gordon's championship run came to a disappointing end last week, but he won the pole for the Ford EcoBoost 400 and has 11 Top 10 results in 15 Homestead races, making him a definite threat to play spoiler.
In terms of under-the-radar options, neither Tony Stewart nor Greg Biffle have enjoyed great seasons, but they are each three-time Homestead winners. There is no question that they would both love to close the year on a high note and enter 2015 with some momentum.
This race could very well turn out to be the most unpredictable finale in the history of the Chase, but after last week's sterling performance, Harvick will follow it up with another and win the Ford EcoBoost 400 and the Sprint Cup championship.
