C.J. Anderson Injury: Updates on Broncos Star's Ankle and Return
The Denver Broncos announced running back C.J. Anderson is active for tonight's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Anderson had previously been listed as questionable as he dealt with an ankle injury.
Nicki Jhabvala of the Denver Post reported Anderson was limited in practice for the second straight day on Wednesday, but ultimately he was healthy enough to play.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
On Sept. 15, Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak said the running back would "go over mental reps. Back off tempo, pick up the teaching" during practice, according to Troy Renck of the Denver Post.
Anderson took over as Denver's starting running back midway through the 2014 season, rushing for 767 yards and eight touchdowns from Weeks 8 through 17.
This season, the Broncos may not have the same kind of offense fans have grown familiar with in recent years, as the offensive line features four new starters—and Peyton Manning is 39 years old. A stable running back situation can keep this team playing at a high level.
Kubiak comes from an offensive background, helping resurrect the Baltimore Ravens as offensive coordinator in 2014. Ronnie Hillman can fill in, but Anderson's absence would have changed how the Broncos chose to run the offense.
