WWE Survivor Series 2014: Overlooked Stars Who Will Make Big Impact at PPV
Like any pay-per-view that boasts a multiman match, there's ample opportunity for overlooked stars to make their voices heard at this year's Survivor Series.
With 10 men needed for the main event alone, we're bound to see some faces that haven't had their opportunity to impress on pay-per-view in a little while. Recent weeks have proved that all sorts of talent are ready to make the most of television time to show themselves off. Who will get that same chance at Survivor Series?
One wrestler who certainly deserves such a shot is Tyson Kidd. The often overlooked Canadian has had a stunning 2014 after injury woes plagued his 2013, and he's been given much more of a focus on television in recent weeks.

A singles match at Survivor Series would be a fitting next step for the renewed Kidd, but the question of who he is to face is a little trickier to answer. A shot at one of the midcard titles would make sense, but with both champions involved in the main event, that seems out of the question.
In many ways, an NXT showcase would be best for Kidd and the pay-per-view, but the idea of it seems rather too good to be true. Kidd has a slim chance of making it to Survivor Series, but if he ends up there, expect him to shine.
One man who will almost certainly be present at the pay-per-view is Luke Harper. His appearance at the end of Monday Night Raw seems to suggest that he is set to align himself with The Authority, which could be the perfect role for the big man.
There was the possibility that when Harper was "freed" from the Wyatt Family that he would land in the stagnant midcard; his immediate injection into the storyline featuring The Authority suggests that is not the case. If he is to take the final spot on The Authority's Survivor Series team, you can expect to be impressed with what he offers up.
What better way for Harper to cement himself as a top-tier talent than hanging with the likes of Sheamus, the Big Show and John Cena? Or what about the intriguing proposition of him beginning a program with Dolph Ziggler as part of the match?
Also in a prime position to take full advantage of a return is Ryback, who found himself at the centre of proceedings on Monday night. Seemingly casting off both teams in the Survivor Series match, it may well be that Ryback doesn't take part in the bout at all—but you can bet he'll be on the pay-per-view.

The Big Guy had his momentum cut out from underneath him during his first real stretch on the WWE roster, but in truth, he wasn't as rounded a performer then as he is now. Both in terms of his character work and his in-ring acumen, it's only now that Ryback is really ready to fulfil his potential.
As such, it'll be interesting to see how he is used going forward. Everything is up in the air about where Ryback fits into the WWE landscape at the moment, and that's exciting. Of course, it could all go very wrong. But if the stars align, we could be on the verge of seeing something very special from Ryback.
Survivor Series could be just the platform he needs to kick-start the next phase of his career. Whether it's a good singles match or a strong performance in the main event, all eyes will be on The Big Guy, and he looks set to make it count.
Who else is overlooked now but won't be after Survivor Series? Might Adam Rose do something that grabs everyone's interest? Could Kane demonstrate why he's main eventing in 2014? Or will Big Show do something that warrants him being on the pay-per-view? Leave your predictions in the comments below.
