---End of Update---
It takes a special kind of saltiness to look the media in the eye and say, "The team that just destroyed us is not good."
Jeremy Hill appeared to possess this boldest of attitudes Thursday night after the Cleveland Browns smacked the Cincinnati Bengals on their home field for a nationally televised 24-3 win.
The Bengals rookie running back told ESPN.com's Coley Harvey (h/t NFL.com's Kevin Patra) that besides winning, the Browns didn't do anything special on the football field.
"Oh no, not at all. They're probably worse than I thought," Hill told Harvey. "They didn't do anything special to me. I mean, respect to them, they won the game. But that's all I'll give them."
While Hill magnanimously recognized the reality of the game's final score, he refused to believe the Browns had done anything to deserve the victory.

"Those guys, they're not that good," Hill said. "It was on us. We gave them the game, in my opinion. They didn't do anything special. We just gave them the game. They just sat back with coverage the whole day."
Part of the Browns' unsporting strategy included holding Hill to 55 yards rushing, forcing him to fumble and picking off Andy Dalton three times. It was a cheap strategy, by Hill's account, as allowing the Bengals to move the ball a bit would've made for a much better night for him.
Browns punter Spencer Lanning, of getting-kicked-in-the-face fame, has tweeted out a response to Hill's remarks.
To review, the Bengals are much better than the Browns, who have a better record and curb-stomped Cincinnati at home. Glad the rookie cleared that up.
