WWE SmackDown: Spoiler-Free Preview for Nov. 3
Expect to hear the sound of flesh smacking against steel on the first WWE SmackDown of November.
A pair of Steel Cage matches headline when the Times Union Center in Albany, New York, hosts The Usos, Cesaro, Dolph Ziggler and others. Superstars look to impress enough to earn a spot on either Team Cena or Team Authority. For The Usos, the night marks their latest crack at regaining the Tag Team Championship.
The show's lineup is short, but plenty intriguing.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
SmackDown also welcomes Christian back as he hosts a Peep Show segment. His guest is the rising star Dean Ambrose.
WWE already taped Ambrose's interaction with Captain Charisma and all the show's in-ring action on Tuesday night. It won't air until Friday at 8 p.m. ET on Syfy.
Until then, spoiler reports await the curious, or else check out the following results-free preview of all the matches set for Friday's SmackDown.
Goldust and Stardust vs. The Usos (Steel Cage match for Tag Team Championship)
Their rivalry hasn't escalated to the point of battling in a cage, but these four men are sure to make this clash an interesting one.
It's not Cody Rhodes' first time to enter this structure, but this will be Stardust's first entry into this battlefield.
Goldust and Stardust have been busy battling Los Matadores of late. In the process, they have lost a number of matches, both as a duo and with Stardust on his own. The latest stumble for the champions came on Monday's Raw, where Fernando knocked off Stardust.
The Usos, meanwhile, have been tangling with The Miz and Damien Mizdow.
WWE will pluck both champion and challenger from those current in-progress feuds and return to the one that ran through Night of Champions and Hell in a Cell. This may be how the company caps off this rivalry before having the teams move on to new stories.
Back when Stardust was still Rhodes, he moonsaulted off the top of the cage. Can he find a way to top that?
Ryback vs. Cesaro
Since returning from injury, Ryback has returned to his dominating ways and has ditched his heel persona for his old one built around a "Feed me more!" mantra.
He enters this match hot, the electricity he had at his peak returning. Cesaro, on the other hand, is being asked to lose often.
His last win came on Oct. 20. Since then he has fallen to Ziggler, both on pay-per-view and on SmackDown. Last week, he ended his bout with Ambrose wearing a pumpkin on his head.
Toppling The Big Guy would shift Cesaro's momentum in a major way. In need of a signature win and some narrative direction, The King of Swing faces a powerhouse trending upward.
Regardless of how the outcome unfolds, fans are promised some hard-hitting action when these two bruises collide.
Adam Rose vs. R-Truth
Where WWE is taking Rose is unclear.
On Monday's Raw, he flashed a touch of his agitated side when he ran into R-Truth backstage. R-Truth wondered aloud how Rose felt about The Bunny overshadowing him.

There was no violence in that moment, not enough of an intense staredown. Still, when those two meet on SmackDown, the audience will be unsure if it's getting a comedy bit or some character development for either Rose or R-Truth.
Considering Rose's history of blink-of-an-eye matches, the one thing fans can count on is this not lasting long either way.
Natalya vs. Summer Rae
Natalya has been busy supporting her husband and having to deal with him using her as a human shield during matches. She gets her own spotlight on SmackDown, facing a fellow Total Divas cast member.
Neither woman is a Divas title contender right now, both having very little in the way of storylines and having suffered a number of losses in the past few months, including last week's Halloween-themed Battle Royal.
Nikki Bella emerged from that match with a title shot promised to her. Natalya and Summer have some catching up to do in order to look like they should get the same opportunity. A dominant win here would be a start.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Kane (Steel Cage match)
Associating with John Cena and defying The Authority has led to Ziggler taking some uncomfortable beatings, but it's also made him a bigger part of the show.
He will soon be in the Survivor Series marquee bout. He is set to main event SmackDown, a rarity for him.
His last meeting with Kane ended with not only a defeat, but with the Director of Operations ordering him to compete right after.
Does Kane lean on his corporate power again? Does Ziggler continue his run of impressive ring work?
SmackDown answers those questions on Friday, on a night powered by cage matches, a chance for tag team gold and two strongmen slugging it out.
