WWE Survivor Series 2014: Smart Builds for PPV's Top Feuds
As is often the case with the Survivor Series pay-per-view, more stars in the main event means for a slightly diluted card elsewhere.
However, with a mouthwatering tussle between Team Cena and Team Authority on the cards, that doesn't necessarily mean the quality of the show in general will suffer.
There will still be some good matches on the undercard, with Dean Ambrose again taking a decent spot ahead of a match with Bray Wyatt.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
So with these two matches expected to dominate the majority of proceedings, how best should WWE promote them?
Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt
It's difficult to work out what to make of Ambrose's feud with Wyatt at the moment. While it started brightly with the major swerve at Hell in a Cell, they haven't really had too much exposure since then.
As is often the case with Wyatt's feuds, there is an underlying story in the offing. This time, Wyatt appears to have secrets about Ambrose that nobody seems to know about.
That's an interesting dynamic for the feud to have, not least because it should bring even more ludicrous behavior out of Ambrose in the coming weeks.
But in terms of building the feud up correctly, it would be nice to see Wyatt and Ambrose lock horns on a couple of occasions prior to Survivor Series.
Sure, their promo work is pretty unique and spectacular, but seeing them fight (as opposed to having scheduled matches) will be something the fans will want as a precursor to the actual match itself.
With Wyatt operating without Erick Rowan and Luke Harper, there should also be more scope for Ambrose to get the upper hand.
Team Cena vs. Team Authority
To be perfectly honest, WWE have done a decent job of promoting this match so far, not least with the inclusion of several subplots into the main storyline.
Dolph Ziggler's more prominent role on WWE TV is welcomed again, and having him attempted to be lured to Team Authority on Raw was a nice story that had plenty of legs.
Perhaps WWE can keep teasing a test of Ziggler's loyalty in the weeks leading up to Survivor Series, too.
With Randy Orton now away from WWE TV shooting a movie, the attention has to switch to Seth Rollins' search for retribution. That rivalry must be kept alive by Rollins, even while Orton is away from the ring doing other projects.
It would be nice to see Vince McMahon return to build some hype around the match, too. As The Authority continue to hold their men in line, having Vince put some pressure on Triple H and Stephanie would be another clever addition to the promo surrounding the match.
With John Cena's return to Raw expected next week, the focus will now be on who he will recruit for this match, too. For example, if Rusev joins Team Authority, as expected, Cena should be getting Sheamus on his side.
Usually, Survivor Series matches of this type feature two or three existing feuds merged into one larger storyline. With a power struggle at the top of WWE evident, having Sheamus vs. Rusev and Big Show vs. Mark Henry playing out as supplementary roles for the match is vital.
