Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
While Bell had the most touches, Riddick might have been the most impressive of the group.
The Notre Dame product only had a few carries in the game, but he was a major factor in the passing game throughout the day, including scoring an important touchdown late in the game. Matt Williamson of ESPN.com liked what he saw in the talented running back:

Meanwhile, he also showcased a skill that eludes many young players. According to Chris Burke of Sports Illustrated, Riddick was solid in pass-blocking:
This performance would likely be enough to give him more playing time on passing downs in the future in a role similar to what Bush has been in Detroit when healthy.
However, before you go crazy trying to acquire Riddick, it is important to note Bush will still have some role when he is active. Even if the team likes Riddick, he will not take away all of the work on passing downs.
Additionally, his targets were highly inflated by not only Bush's injury but also Calvin Johnson, Brandon Pettigrew, Joseph Fauria and Eric Ebron being out. Quarterback Matthew Stafford had limited weapons and could only throw to Riddick and Golden Tate for the most part.
He might become a quality player in PPR leagues, but it is hard to trust him in fantasy lineups going forward.
Meanwhile, Bell had a relatively disappointing effort for the Lions on a day he was supposed to star. Going against a defense that had allowed the most fantasy points to opposing running backs and Bush out, Bell still only managed a handful of yards and no touchdowns.
He continues to be inefficient when he does get the ball, and the chances might be running out. He has become touchdown-dependent to be fantasy relevant, which makes him incredibly risky any week.
This might be a player you want to trade to get any sort of value before it is too late.
