NFL Trade Deadline 2014: Biggest Names Still Drawing Interest from Other Teams
October 28, the 2014 NFL trade deadline, is fast approaching. We've already seen one blockbuster trade in the New York Jets' acquisition of wide receiver Percy Harvin from the Seattle Seahawks, and that doesn't appear to be the last.
While trade talk is slightly limited this season, a few names have already popped up in conversations around the league. Not every rumor winds up coming to fruition, so we can take what evidence we have and gauge the likelihood of a deal getting done.
Let's take a glance at a few recent players who have received some trade buzz and decide exactly how much interest they may be garnering from other franchises.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Vincent Jackson, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Before Buccaneers fans everywhere begin to panic, let's get one thing straight: Tampa Bay is not actively shopping Jackson. However, that doesn't mean the team isn't entertaining calls regarding the availability of the wide receiver, via NFL Network's Ian Rapoport:
At 6'5", Jackson creates mismatches all over the field. He was highly successful with the San Diego Chargers and has continued that success in Tampa Bay, proving he isn't a product of one system. Despite the lack of an efficient quarterback this season, Jackson was still able to put up 344 yards and two touchdowns through six games.
As Rapoport noted, the Buccaneers are receiving plenty of calls regarding the receiver, as teams in need of pass-catchers will continue to be highly interested in this reliable target.
Interest Level: High
Jermaine Gresham, TE, Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals would be wise to deal Gresham before the trade deadline. The team has second-year tight end Tyler Eifert returning from injury shortly, and Gresham appears to be headed to free agency in 2015. Moving him would at least allow Cincinnati to receive some sort of compensation.
Rapoport tweeted his thoughts in regard to the Bengals possibly looking to strike a deal for the tight end:
While there hasn't been any reported interest yet, that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Gresham hasn't exactly met expectations since being selected in the first round of the 2010 draft, but at 6'5" and 260 pounds, he can make a difference for several tight end-needy teams.
The Seahawks already expressed interest in Cleveland Browns tight end Jordan Cameron and Denver Broncos tight end Julius Thomas during the Harvin saga, according to Will Brinson of CBSSports.com, so we already know they are looking to upgrade the position.
Gresham could be had at a fair price, and we should expect to see interest from Seattle as well as other teams.
Interest Level: Medium
Mike Williams, WR, Buffalo Bills

Williams has been making headlines of late due to his agent requesting a trade from the team, and he was granted permission to look around, according to Rapoport:
The wide receiver later expressed his interest in remaining in Buffalo, but the damage had already been done—his name was out there. While teams could look to acquire Williams, the price may be too high, via a couple of tweets from Mike Rodak of ESPN.com:
Williams looked like a wide receiver on exactly one play this season, taking a short reception 80 yards for a touchdown against the Houston Texans. Aside from that, he hasn't done much of anything, and that's not worthy of a top-receiver paycheck.
Don't expect Williams to go anywhere at the current rate.
