TNA Impact Wrestling: Complete Preview, Rumors, News and More for October 15
After one of the most unique Bound for Glory pay-per-views in TNA history, the fallout on Impact Wrestling will have fans tuning in to see which direction the company goes as it hits the reset button on many of the top storylines.
A huge PPV like Bound for Glory should mark the end of programs and is the perfect opportunity to ignite new feuds. As seen in the past, TNA has been known for saving title changes and memorable moments for the Impact Wrestling following a PPV as well.
With a 4-Way No. 1 Contender's match featuring Bobby Roode, Havok defending her Knockouts Championship, The Menagerie in action and much more, this week’s show is must-watch television for all wrestling fans.
Here is all the vital viewing information for Wednesday’s show and a full preview of this week’s Impact Wrestling.
Where: Sands Casino, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania
When: Wednesday, Oct. 15, at 9 p.m. ET (pre-taped)
Watch: Spike TV
Crowning a New No. 1 Contender
The TNA World Heavyweight Championship was not defended on Sunday’s Bound for Glory card, and the fans are more eager than ever to see what’s next for the title and current champion Lashley.
Former champion Bobby Roode has been fighting to earn another shot at beating Lashley for the belt, and TNA executive director Kurt Angle has made a No. 1 contender’s match this Wednesday to determine who gets the next shot at gold.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Who Will Be the New No. 1 Contender?
While Roode was announced as the first entrant in the 4-Way match, it wasn’t until the conclusion of last week’s Impact Wrestling that the other three combatants were named. On Wednesday, Roode will square off against Jeff Hardy, Eric Young and Austin Aries with a title shot on the line.
As much as each of the aforementioned wrestlers deserves to have a chance at the company’s top title, the storyline has been about Roode. He beat MVP and Kenny King in a handicap match and has been booked to be the most dominant face in the company. Roode must walk away with the win.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Memorable Impact Wrestling Main Events
From a strictly in-ring perspective, the 4-Way match between these men will be outstanding. Roode and Aries are two of the best technical wrestlers in the business, Hardy is a high flyer and Young has the energy to make this a PPV-quality match on television.
The hope is that after the excellent bout, it is Roode who will have his hand raised. With no PPV in sight after Bound for Glory, the championship match will likely take place on the Oct. 22 episode of Impact Wrestling.
The stage has been set for a title change.

Knockouts Championship, The Menagerie and Bound for Glory Fallout
The rise to the top has been quick for Havok, but TNA’s newest Knockouts champion is defending her title for the second time in her first week as champion. She beat Velvet Sky at Bound for Glory and will defend Wednesday against Madison Rayne.
Rayne used dirty tactics to win the Triple Threat No. 1 Contender’s match last week, and the hope is that this is the start of a heel turn for the former champion. While Rayne likely won’t win on Wednesday, a possible heel turn would be best for her character.
Havok will roll on as the dominant heel champion.
Question on Everybody's Mind: How Much Money Does The Menagerie Need?
One of the best stables in all of wrestling is The Menagerie. While some hardcore wrestling fans can’t let themselves enjoy comedy, the group has been consistently fun and very entertaining. The hope is that The Menagerie are given a viable storyline moving forward.
This week’s match against Jessie Godderz, DJ Z and Angelina Love continues the feud with The BroMans and the Beautiful People, but the goal should be that there are bigger things being planned for The Menagerie. How else will Knux pay for his dad’s carnival?
Hype Meter: 4 out of 5 Rockstar Spud and ECIII Segments
One of the biggest mistakes WWE executives made was letting Ethan Carter III slip right through their fingers. On a week-to-week basis, there are few heels in the business today that draw as much legitimate heat as ECIII. He draws enough heat to make Rockstar Spud a face.
Carter’s segments are typically very funny. He understands how to interact with the crowd, but it has been the comedic work of Spud that has put this duo over the top. While a long-term feud between ECIII and Eric Young would be best, a side feud between Spud and Carter would be interesting.
Do not let Spud end ECIII’s winning streak, though. That would be bad for business.
